Our first post in this thread was pignash, the rest have been me. I don't really care if me townreading Umlat looks like buddying because I outlined my reasons for the read. Why didn't you analyze the reason I provided instead of ignoring them and labeling it buddying?
I was townreading Ranger because her reads list seemed to invite a lot of discussion around it and I find not explaining a reads list like that pretty "I don't care what you think" which isn't scum behavior. Yeah it's pretty weak but it's there.

The things you decided to comment on seemed cookie cutter and safe at the time (referring to 87, 88, and 89). However when I actually decided to catch up myself there wasn't a lot to comment on so I felt better about it.
Yakko is mostly gut. I feel like his early question about AI seemed really filler and idk what was going to be gained from that. Like it looked like he wanted it to be perceived as his attempt to get out of RVS when the question itself serves no purpose.
I'm less sold on AI town than Spiffeh, this eagerness at the beginning of the game and this vote to make sure he didn't post early and not have an RVS vote seems like trying to seem town.

This is what Spiffeh said was town. I think it's easy to point out this kind of thing without committing to anything and is mostly null. BlackStar's inquisitiveness seems town to me FWIW.
This post is less towny from Kaboose. AA pretty clearly was reading and posting about specific things. So Kaboose isn't reading or is trying to throw shade for scummy reasons.
No conclusions yet, just wanted people to see my head's thoughts so far.

We are talking, but it was his posts you were asking about.
My thoughts are that he was saying he'd think what I said was scummy if he didn't already know better. I was being friendly early in the game, but I'm just friendly all the time!
I don't know if the AA vote is still RVS, he did change our slot's vote. I think it was more to engage them since they hadn't been in thread at that point.

I assumed he was going after pignash for looking like he was buddying someone he played with before. Had I not already known the alignment of this slot it probably would have been something I would push early game as well.
I wanted to see how ika/SW reacted to a naked vote since I had played with them before. Nothing really came out of that but some later things (such as SW trying to force our interaction in 107) make me fine with calling them town from what I've read so far.

What I dislike about umlaut and AI is the lack of stance on anyone. Doubly so for AI as umlaut has stated his dislike of two people. Someguy and an almost universally town read player.

The inclusion of phrases like "Although I haven't been paying attention" and "Although I am reaching" read as really self conscious which is not what I would really expect from Yakko. And all of these observations are just so vanilla and noncommittal. There are no valuable conclusions drawn, it's just one big waffle.
I really want an explanation as to why people are townreading Yakko.

Then he says Yakko is town WHILE VOTING FOR HIM. HIS VOTE HAS NEVER LEFT YAKKO FROM RVS. He's trying to appease here, only concerned about himself and hasn't done an ounce of scum hunting.
