The hard part is that identifying the scum doesn't win the game for town; even if you lynch them both, you still need a townie to survive to D7 to win. This pretty much rules out Zyf's strategy because although it's good at getting rid of scum, it leads to the remaining group of townies being too small to finish.
Oh that didn't register
Shouldn't town just no-lynch every day then?
We really should wait for the game thread lol

Mislead is breakable: every day 2 players have to foresight, if they have different result 1 is lying scum, lynch 1 and split up, otherwise nolynch. Repeat, split up after 4 days (only 1 foresight isnt reliable since possible scum), there should always be more town left if you follow this.
Only moment this fails: select 2 scum to foresight, but then everyone's reads reads must be really bad.
but I may roll scum I've thrown some time at it, and haven't really exhausted all options, but I have the suspicion I'm not going to like being scum all that much.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

First of all, if the results are different, you can lynch one if you want, but they don't flip until the start of day 2, so that doesn't help you figure anything out. If you split up 3/4 (plus the two claims assumedly going down their own path), then you're left with at worst, two vanilla town who haven't used future sight, an unclaimed scum, a claimed scum (who is now outed because he didn't follow the path he said), and the town who knew that was the right direction. You can't get out without making a whole bunch of 50/50 shots correctly after that point. Granted, a lot of bad luck got you to that point, but the point is that it isn't breakable.
I've been scheming for days trying to find a 100% solved game for town, and I'm starting to think it doesn't exist. The odds still might be fantastic for town, but I don't think 100% exists.

While I appreciate the enthusiasm for FakeGod's game, this is still a Queue. If you wish to continue theory discussion on Mislead before the game begins, you can head over to Open Setup Discussion. (Once the game begins, keep it to the game thread itself to avoid discussion of ongoing games.)
