For Salt Squad, I'm not thrilled with Beeboy's posting but it's mostly that I disagree with it, not that I find it particularly scummy. Further, I think the posting from the Cakez head is acceptable and makes enough sense.

On Tim, the scum read is mostly tonal based. Nothing they're saying is

untrue, Molla likely did make a suboptimal play, but I think the aggression in Post 53 and Post 66 is slightly overwrought and they don't really feel appropriate as an immediate visceral reaction to Molla's claim. The fact that Antihero had the same feeling independently in his read-through gives me a little more confidence in my own intuition. (I'm also not a fan of the tone of Post 449, though I can't yet put my finger on exactly why.)

On Cephrir, I just think his overall posting is pretty craptacular. The occasional Nosferatu shots aren't very good and don't have any teeth. There's also his latest post on davesaz (Post 393) which gives me the distinct "pushing-but-not-really-pushing" feel that I think scum try to shoot for in multiballs.

Again, it's not like those posts (or my last) took place in a vacuum. Perceiving BBm to be willfully ignorant and then dismissive frustrated me. The posts that came before that that were part of the same conversation weren't particularly overaggressive, were they? It just doesn't seem like you took into account BBm's own tone and manner of his posts or thought of an alternative answer for "hmm, why would Tim escalate his tone here?" besides "scummy!". For the sake of completion if I perceive you to be misrepresenting me, the tone of my next post will be prone to be heightened above neutral (and honestly, I restrained myself last post)

Catching up is taking quite sometime even though I have obviously mostly skimmed up to this point. Only getting the gist of it all.

What I did notice thus far is:

1- Expedience is disliked by many for some reason that I have yet to research.
2- Cane + Able are being a nag.
3- BBMolla made some weird claim that I'm not buying.
4- Luna is probably on my side (not completely sure though)
5- Titus is probably town too.
6- I had foreseen trouble coming my way from the Stormblade trio before the pre-game phase, but I get the feeling we could be friends (I'd rather have confirmation on this from ABR though, bc I'm having trouble trusting Nahdia)
7- Other people I won't trust until I see evidence they're "on the good side" include dram (you fooled me once) & SirCakez (we should always start by assuming we're on opposing factions until proven otherwise )
8- Surprisingly enough I do NOT have a clear read on the FA+FB slot (Come on guys! Couldn't you have picked a longer username so that one enjoys typing an essay whenever addressing you??)

I am asked about my opinion on Almost50, while ppl seem to agree it's terrible, i thought it was town, and suddenly im in a scumteam with Almost50.

I absolutley want a dead Celt but this is already a bloated thread and I don't want to spend another 20 or 30 pages trying to convince folks that Celt is the scum lynch we are looking for. My first inkling of Klingon being scum was around the time I was talking about her "meta townread" on House. On its face, I think it's pretty bad: how "mean" someone is doesn't seem alignment indicative, I would think that would be more indicative of other things going on in the person's life. But even ignoring the fundamental weakness of the read, I think slipping an easy "townread" onto someone is likely to come from scum who want to look like they're doing something without drawing anyone's ire.

Since then

it looks like she's focusing on a really small swath of the playerlist, which I think could be consistent with the "Day 3 player" characterization from earlier (understandable in this behemoth of a playerlist). So the read softened a little bit with time.

For those voting the top two wagons could you give a sentence on why you're willing to lynch your target?

Mainly I'm asking this because I watch wagons to see how much or how little resistance they have.
