Perkins should be Giants starting RB next year. He should have been it this year as Jennings did practically nothing all season

Brady and Bell are not disqualified from MVP. I just don't think their respective teams need them to win games. Pittsburgh and New England both won games without them. So I don't consider them valuable

Carr is not disqualified from MVP either. I just don't like the idea of giving him an award when he can not play. Some people would think it is pitying. Also giving him an award like this would be reminding him of how good he was. I'd rather Carr did not get this award. I think not giving it to him would better inspire him to do better when he comes back and is healthy

Rodgers played real well making good on his run the table comment earlier in the year, BUT had he played better all year, had GB not gone on a losing streak, they would not have needed to run the table.

This is why my vote is Matt Ryan. Played very well and I don't think Falcons would be where they are without Ryan winning some crucial games for Atlanta this season. Ryan played very well this serason and was very valuable to his team

MVP is always an interesting debate as people take it as one of two statements:

The player who if you removed them from the team would have most negatively impacted said team (value to team X)
vs
The player that if you could choose any single player for a new team, they would be first chosen (best overall player)

If I had to make a new team, I probably wouldn't pick Ryan. I think he is the MVP this season though with Carr as runner up (Rodgers third).

How healthy is Jordy Nelson after last week's game?

He is my pick for "comeback player of the year" this year. Had great season after previous season where he could not play

Even if Jordy misses more playoff time he is my pick for this. "Comeback player of the year" award is something that would encourage you to come back again stronger than ever

Personally, I think the Matt Ryan for MVP case significantly undersells the fact that he's on the same team as Julio Jones. Having the best receiver in the NFL makes your job a lot easier if your putting together an MVP contending season. Mohammed Sanu is a pretty good #2, and he's got one of the best dual threat running backs in the NFL in his backfield. Brady would be the clear MVP if he wasn't unjustly suspended for the first four games, especially if you consider the tools he has to work with compared to Ryan. That's why I think Carr is the MVP. The performance of his replacements emphasises how good he is, and the fact that Cooper and Crabtree are among the worst receivers in the NFL in terms of dropping catchable balls means this stats are diminished by his receiving crops.

Either that, or Johnny Hekker, because the Rams would have been so, so much worse without his exceptional punting gaining them valuable field position.

Also, comeback player of the year is Jadaveon Clowney. When he was hurt for his first two seasons, he was getting called a bust by some people, yet he's back to being the exceptional player he was in college and was a key figure in his defence overcoming the loss of JJ Watt to lead the league in yards per game.

And losing so get ready to get ass raped by your lack of a legitimate defense.

Our defense has been coming into its own lately dude

I know beating the Pats in Foxborough will be a longshot but I BELIEVE

The more I think about it the more likely a win for us seems. Our offense is incredibly well-balanced - if they can't stop Bell, the Pats are doomed; if they can, we can probably still make plays in the air.

The question is in the defense. Brady has traditionally had field days against our scheme. But it's Butler now, not LeBeau, and a secondary in particular that has come into its own. If we can keep Brady under control, we win; if not, we lose. It's that simple. And I think the key to that will be holding back on blitzing.

Pressure without blitzing IMO. Whenever we blitz it will almost certainly open up a quick pass to one of Brady's options.

Given how Brady lacks a true #1 and Gronk, this is likely Pits best opportunity to beat New England in a long time.

I still just want NFC to win whether its GB or ATL
