Thought on it a bit, House is actually right in a way. However, with how it has been presented to me, the point is rendered moot.
This is about GL being null. With how House presented it, it caused GL to be bumped up in my reads as well, though not as far as House. So now it's not trusting a null; it's trusting a townlean.
