I do think it's fair to say that my posting this game has been different, but this is an open setup and I have publicly drafted a treestump. The mechanics of how the game works are obviously different from QoH and it should not be a surprise to you or anyone that I have approached it differently. I can see how one could blindly make a meta read of this type, but it's really clear why my play would be different for non-alignment reasons. Also, I tend to say "meta is trash" because literally every game I play it seems that players use meta to "confirm" me as town when I'm scum, and "confirm" me as scum when I'm town. I have yet to see meta applied correctly to me. Here we are again with this. But, it's an understandable thing because players who rely on meta seem to make these really obvious mistakes a lot.

If Toogeloo knew Goatmeal was town I see little reason why he would bother trying to both derail a handy mislynch wagon and throw suspicion on the people voting for him.

Toogeloo went out of his way to protect Goatmeal. You could plausibly say that's some hardcore buddying to provoke a mislynch D2 but Goatmeal has done less than nothing with their play to provide credence that they might be town.

Hell, I'd even argue that a possible reason they didn't bother sending in a room or action N1 (if you take their claim at face value) was because they're scum who've given up on staying alive and have written off the game.

So yeah I was also in the Laboratory because I'm one of the neighbors. There's no way we'll keep it hidden so it's really not necessary to try (especially with scum!Goatmeal in there).
So Goatmeal shows up and we ask why they were there.
DGB answers for herself and says that she wasn't around so they didn't send anything in and got randomized to the Laboratory.
When asked specifically about why Ranmaru didn't say anything, DGB said that he wasn't around either and they haven't been communicating.
Which I found really weird because
