Yeah, never hammer yourself as town. It denies town valuable information. The only time you should hammer or self vote is if you're scum and want to end the day so the town doesn't have time to strategize.

There's not much there, but read the Mafia thread. I opted to go for a bit of a gamble by letting Locust get another investigation. There was no good scenario for me to fake claim doctor. That would have required me selling that I had been blocked in order to kill Locust or chance being investigated.

I wanted to be more active in all of my games at the time, but my schedule was a bit hectic. Did anyone examine my other recent games to compare with this current game? My schedule is pretty nasty for the next few weeks, but I hope to return to the fray in March.

@Locust: Did you have any N2 investigation thoughts?

I hope that everybody experienced something to help them improve their game. Please ask questions and discuss. I will provide individual thoughts to anyone who desires.

I really didn't have anything else that pointed to Howard being mafia than what I've already said in the thread. In fact on Day three I was getting paranoid about SS, and rechecked her ISO a couple of times to remind myself of my read on her.

@ HM:

I think you've got good instincts. The best way to improve is to just keep playing, watch what other players do, and copy the methods that you think might work for you. Another suggestion is to read some of the old threads in the mafia discussion forum - there's some useful stuff in there. Also try these:

Being wrong doesn't matter, because you can use that to refine your methods in future. You can learn from it.
