Listened to all of them, my top 10 is likely this:

1. Republic of Kugelmugel (Sleep)- I liked it very much. Top contender
2. Liechtenstein (Shelter)- Feels unfair because i've been listening to this a lot. Great song obv, dig the choppy vocals. Music video was meh.
3. Belgium (You've Underestimated Me, Dude)- Dude. Good stuff. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
4. Nigeria (Blood on Me)- Good, I like his voice and the song was good and yeah yup
5. England (Colours)- It's a pretty good song, i like the feel and how the beat and rap mesh
6. Finland (Wieniawski)- 20 minutes but I enjoyed all of those minutes, 2nd movement was great. Not my favorite violin piece but good.
7. Mali (Walking in Your Footsteps)- Yeah. Nice instrumentals. That flute
8. Cote d'Ivoire (No rule my rule)- It was pretty good. I like high energy stuff like this, but her voice wasn't great
9. Afghanistan (Her)- I like the piano, i felt like the voice was good but didn't mesh well. Still liked it.
10. Central African Republic (Beetlebum)- Dig the instrumentals, the vocals are okay. repetitive, which is crazy because its so short

Cote d'Ivoire(ZAQ)--So, in case it wasn't obvious by now, I like high-energy music a lot. It's a personal failing perhaps, but slow stuff just can't usually hold my attention. Hence why anime music and I tend to get along. What I like about ZAQ more than most other animu singers is that she is rather distinctive? I guess. I can always tell when a song is hers, and she has a bit more odd creativity to me. Also, I can't help but feel powerful when I hear this song.

Spoiler: Talking to myself publicly, but behind a spoiler tag, about my rating system

I'm thinking of going with a rating system more like Parama's. The problem with mine is that there are several numbers I rarely use. I don't know if I've ever given anything a 10/10 for instance, and even 9s are very rare. If I give something anything lower than a 5 there's pretty much zero chance I'm going to vote for it or even listen to it a second time (saves time that way) so what's the point of even differentiating between a 2 and a 3 then? Almost everything, then, ends up in the 5-8 range, and even there it's mostly 5-7. I think at some point I was planning on rounding up all the data to do analysis on my preferences or something, but the problem with that is that the way I think of my numbers and what they mean has changed over time, so. Can't really compare recent contests to older ones anyway.

So I'm thinking of going like this, from worst to best:

-Bad
-Don't care
-Decent
-Good
-Great

The nice thing there is there's no fuffling around worrying about which bad song is worse than whatever other bad song. The bad part about it is how do I differentiate in my notes between two great songs, or two good songs? With the numbers I started doing like "Low 7"/"Mid 7"/"High 7" but that doesn't really work when I'm using words.

Maybe I could do pluses and minuses? Yeah I think that'd be a good idea.

K I'mma try this out next contest.

England - Sounds interesting.

Benin - There's a whole genre of "songs that sound just like this one", but I don't mind it.
Bhutan - Ehhh..
Republic of Kugelmugel - Ok.
Canada - Oh God that voice... (I realize now this sounds ambiguous. I do not like his voice).
Germany - .__.
Cote d'Ivoire - We're now in the depths of the wtf section of this SC.
Belgium - I should like this but it just sounds so annoyingly ungenuine. The lyrics, the 'dude', that scream. Ugh.
Mali - It's nice.
Nigeria - Nice.
Mexico - It's nice enough.
Finland - If I can't find 10 songs to give points to, maaaybe you'll get one.
Uruguay - This is nice_ish.
India - This is nice_ish'er.
Liechtenstein - Nope. Some really annoying sounds. I especially hate that vocal sample.
Macao - Oh great, another annoying vocal sample. I really don't like this kind of stuff. Still, I prefer this to Liech.
USA - So far, it's a nice palate cleanser. Quite nice actually.
South Korea - Orca ninjas go rambo? No.
Chad - I like her voice, but ehhh.
South Sudan - Ehh, it's ok.

Now I just need to sort this all out and vote. Wasn't blown away by anything, but there are some interesting songs in this contest I might get back to. Will be tough deciding the top spots.
