Third. I picked Aero because I wanted someone experienced, with whom I had a history, for the important JOAT job. I picked Vax for distance, someone with whom I had no connection. Third I picked Gin, a talented up-and-comer with whom I have a recent connection and friendship, to hopefully draw a Cop onto the GF

Well that's the other thing that's pissing me off. Godfather with no Cop in evidence. Strongman JOAT with no apparent protective roles (1-shot Hider doesn't count). FIVE non-Cop investigative shots (Two eavesdroppers, Hider, Track and Watch from Inventor.) No Town killing role for the Jailkeep JOAT to protect against. I may need to have some balance words with the reviewer.

This is actually a common Town flaw - figuring out the setup is only half the battle. You also have to convince the Town. All we had to do in endgame was let Fate's paranoia run off the rails.

Yeah, that was my best move all game.

There were another few times that I think I was able to nudge conversation a bit. I was the one that brought up the missing Tracker result, remember? And proposed that Mono gave it to the allegedly Bulletproof Gin.

Hey Gin
- I really did want you as my Godfather.

Also, the setup makes me mad. My Godfather was useless. My Jailkeeper was essentially useless. There was practically nothing to strongman. Highly distributed roles made Rolecop less effective. *shake fist at Camn* I should have known that "choose your own team's roles" was a trap. I pretty much had Goons.

Those are hemlock scales.

Yes, I know the difference between pine and hemlock at a glance.

Oh, right, commentary on scum deaths.

Katsuki did the best he could with what he was handed. Honestly, surviving D1 was an accomplishment after replacing that slot. Boffo.

Aeronaut got caught out on a guilty. Guilties are guilties, not much you can do about them. He threw off a respectable amount of WIFOM before going down. Nicely played.

Sir Cakez was chosen for his lack of prior connection to me and his ability to slow play. He was my safety, as I was confident in his ability to fly under the radar if all else failed. He did not disappoint.

Town played really, really well this game. Seriously, it took every scrap of skill, guile, and luck we had to barely eke out a win. Mostly luck. Town was coordinated, on-task, caught our mistakes, and prosecuted their leads. Town didn't really have any significant weaknesses or handicaps. Well played all.

Also, when I claimed that I declined my one Town request, that was for real. In hindsight, I should have requested a Cop. This would have eliminated the possibility of alternative investigators while setting up a false positive on my Godfather, a situation Camn neatly sidestepped by NOT HAVING A COP. Sigh. Godfather was effectively a Goon.
