One afternoon, a breathless spy returned to headquarters with a page of paper in his hand, excitedly shouting to his superior, "Comrade! Comrade! The Americans are using Lisp to write their rocket launching software!" via read the rest of the joke
Oh dear, you seem to be dead. No spoilers, please <3

Exactly lmao, really strange to kill me since most of the board agreed I seemed super suspicious.
ahh, ok lmao. Thanks for the insight. I was legitimately confused. It's definitely is good for town though, so probably for the best. Next game I wont act so strange. First Maf game and I hadn't the slightest clue what to do at first.
It's okay to be strange. Some games everyone will suspect you for no reason and some games everyone will trust you for no reason.
It's good to be nightkilled when you're a vanilla townie because it means a PR didn't get nightkilled and it's good (and unusual) to be nightkilled when lots of people are suspecting you because it means you won't be mislynched.
Holy Damn, it must have been Teacher who killed me then. I don't think I can see anyone else coming up with a read like that. I'm guessing Bread Crumbing is a very common thing?

i think they are trying to blend in with other people doing night kill analysis -- it can sometimes be good useful to notice, especially late in the game, that all three of the nightkills were scumreading somebody who happens to be still alive. but when town do it, town don't have enough information to really be sure what happened, so any story town can put together is going to be less polished, and probably somewhat biased by their own reads and opinions because of confirmation bias.
when scum try to do night kill analysis they want to make sure the night kill analysis points away from scumreading them, so if you kill someone for being right about their reads you might want to try to make it look like they were probably a PR or if they had any reads that were wrong you might want to make it look like the townie the person who died was scumreading was probably the killer. or they just think they would be doing night kill analysis if they were town so they try to do it as scum, but since they know the true answer of why the person was killed, they have trouble figuring out whether they would have picked up on those reasons if they were town.
It's like math: easy when you know the answer, and easy to think a hard problem is an easy one, just because you know the answer already.
There was a 3 blue 1 brown video about that recently
Wow, I definitely could not have said it better myself. After Teacher said something like that, I definitely think now that he was the scum that killed me. He seems like the only one who's trying to read into Bread Crumbs that aren't there. This is starting to sound like a misstep on Scum's behalf. Aaron sees that, so I hope he has enough influence to put attention on Teacher for this.
I was pretty skeptical of him after he suggested the voting block with Little Ghost because it seems like he's trying to control the game. But it feels shitty accusing the most active poster in the thread, especially when he's one of the few people keeping it alive. But unfortunately I guess you can't have that ideal in a game like this. Everyone voted Dong cause of the absence, and that didn't really get us anywhere.
Btw, that 3 Blue 1 Brown video was stellar, one of the few channels I know that make math interesting to me.
Invest Teacher, Protect Aaron. I believe strongly that teacher is scum now, and Aaron is the only one calling him out.
Idk if Gimm1ck is really a PR, and cc'ing day 2 would have been a risky move since the wagon on Salad was already up.
But i'm assuming Gimm1ck is PR here.
