@ethos, great job surviving as long as you did. You guys got stuck with a town sided setup and your partner kind of messed up. If you had left me alive, you would have won. I did not think both of those claims were legit and i don't think anyone could have convinced me to vote you.

Besides day 2, which I hated more than any game I have ever played, this game was fun.

It was a chance to actually solve. Very happy to see that red flip.

Btw here's a little bit of logic you guys ought to have followed

We know by the newbie setup (which is semi open and therefore town favored relatively) that Tracker Doctor is too favored vs 2 goons.

So 2 shot tracker/Doc or BG/Tracker ought to be fine

But 2 shot tracker AND Bg is too scumsided so it would need a neighbourizer for town

Basically

2 shot tracker bg vs 2 goons too scumsided, especially with any sort of multitasking on a scum neighbourizer

2 shot tracker neighbourizer too scumsided by far

Neighbourizer BG is a joke

So all the PRs had to be true




The setup isn't townsided but it's a game that goes horrifically awry for scum when scum go down D1 and Eth0s got caught on the wrong end of it.

It’s not a broken set up by any means. It was fine. Eth0s got unlucky with how it shook out. He played well.

no I don't think it is broken but scum having no power other than the kill when town has 3 PRs (sure one is negative utility) to me always seems town sided. I think scum should have had at least a one shot multi-tasker ability or something.

Very much kudos to eth0s. We were surprised to be cut short on D1 and eth0s very nearly managed to get this done, up to the point where in 4p mylo 2 townies were voting each other. amazing.

it was my first scum game in 2 years and I got too excited

I was pretty mentally set on eth0s for several real life days but I didn’t want to influence dan. He said he’d sheep me but I was still trying to finally decide so I wanted to see if he’d organically get there in a believable way or if he’d fabricate a reason, or what. In the end, he didn’t really say anything I hadn’t already thought of it but the way he expressed it did sound genuine. And he did do meta dives I didn’t do, which was helpful.

That’s why I also didn’t post in thread that there was no way I was voting Drew today. I think that would have totally led to a different situation, if I had, because eth0s would have been able to come out guns blazing against dan instead of backing himself into a corner against drew. Ultimately, that was pretty decisive for me. Dann also voted for drew but he was transparently trying to solve the game where eth0s was not. Final nail in the coffin (from my perspective).

I am disappointment in my play this game. I never knew scum neighborizer was a thing until this game, so I was losing interest D2 because I hate being conf town so early on.

Wasn't until Gamma was about to be mislynched that I actually had to play and I was all out of sorts...... apologies to Gamma.

Everyone else played so well that it made endgame so difficult. Big ups to Amrun for trusting in me and putting it all together.

Btw guys, that hammer wasn’t “accidental” that said, I really wouldn’t have cared if it was. I knew my Shos!scum solve was correct and saw 0 reason to hesitate.

@Dann you played really well and I was not in a great place on D2 of this game. I would have never killed A50 here. That in itself, should have townlocked me. A50 has never played with scum!me, so that would be the absolute last player, scum!me would have ever killed here.

Yeah, I really learned a lot watching you take over my slot. I still don’t understand understand what “noise” Robb kept referring to on D1? The only “noise” I made was on D2 but I honestly think I was in the wrong frame of mind to play this game after what I was dealing with on D2, so I’m really glad I replaced out and you took over. And you obviously had no way of knowing that scum!me never kills A50 here because he’s only played with me as town so far, so he would almost certainly have locktowned me (assuming he knew who I was - that is)

I’m surprised no one thought to bring up, Shos’ weird, inexplicable random eth0s tunnel. It’s abundantly clear now that was scum distancing. I think it was a mistake tbh but since no one really paid too much attention to that, eh?

And it literally took me to close to the moment I hammered to make the Thor/Gamma connection with Shos/Robb. I also think that Robb was a horrible slot for him to have death tunnelled, since he was so obviously town. I’m just super glad eth0s as actually town in RJN or we probably would have lost.

I think I did okay given my position but truthfully if drew neighbored amrun the night I killed robbnva I would've lost a lot earlier. The scum pt kinda has my thoughts laid out there.

I've never seen 3 pr vs 2 goon before. I dont think it was heavily town sided but I bet if I could have proven I was vanilla (vt/goon) I woulda not been lynched because clearly no one expected me to flip goon vs 3 pr.

Shos dying early made that game suck a lot tho. Even though there was a short time where I thought I might actually win
