Great timing for my almost monthly disappearance.
Andycyca wrote:What is your favorite word?
English: Defenestration
Dutch: Uhm...I don't think I have a favourite word in Dutch. I'd go for kat (cat) or some random food word, probably pannenkoek (pancake).

I do actually also have a favourite word in Romanian, which would be pup, pronounced like poop. It means kiss, which never ceases to amuse me.
What is your least favorite word?
I don't really have a least favourite word, I guess. Something somebody repeats all the time (a teacher I had for Behavioural Finance said "right" more than 200 times and "y'know" more than 100 times in 45 minutes. That drove me wild) would be close.
What turns you on?
I'm not sure if I'm reading this correctly (as in what way I'm turned on. I guess you could turn me on by plugging me in...), but in girls, I look at the face and especially the eyes.
What turns you off?
Overdone make-up, obesity.
What sound do you love?
Purring.
What sound do you hate?
When nails meet chalkboard. Can't stand it.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Professional footballer (as goalkeeper).
What profession would you not like to participate in?
Accountant. Seriously. We had an accountant over during one of the accounting classes and when he described his work, it was difficult not to shout out "BO-RING". That one visit completely killed any and all desire to do anything with accounting.
What's your favorite curse word?
I mostly use "Godverdomme", which is Dutch for Goddamnit, but I've been waiting to use "Du-te dracului, goăză" on someone (go to hell, asshole). Cursing in foreign languages is a winner for me.
If heaven exists what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
"Wazzaaaaaaaaaap?"
Who on this list should be next for GTKAS?
Goofy.
shaft.ed wrote:why the kittens?
A long time ago, a couple of friends and I tried to put animals with people. We went with cat for the girl I had a crush on at that time. That started it. After that, it was mainly a matter of finding a few really really cute kitten pictures online (and the neighbours across the street having a litter of very cute little kittens) and that just solidified it. I wuv me some kittens.
ChannelDelibird wrote:Which game are you most proud of as a player?
I'd probably say Unrealistic Mafia, a game where I pretty much alone kept the Town in there. While others sagged with inactivity, I kept pounding away and won the game for us in the end. It's difficult for me between that one and Newbie 321, the game where I pulled off a great gambit.
Which game are you most proud of as a mod?
Ghost Mafia 3 (off-site). Great game. Very bastardly. I designed some great new roles for it.
What do you feel you could improve on most as a player?
Currently, activity (I suck). When in top shape, I think my attitude may be a bit bad, that I sometimes come over as arrogant and all-knowing and that I should explain things better. My problem is maybe that I work a lot on gut and that kind of makes it difficult to really get a strong case going.
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being supremely awesome, how awesome am I?
7. <3
On the same scale, how awesome are you?
5. I'm not very awesome.
Do you have, or have you ever had, rabies?
Nope, but there's a first for everything.
Blue or black ink?
I usually use blue (because it's simply more common), but I use black for all my tests (it's silly, I know), so I'd say black.
Cake or pie?
Difficult to say. Dutch doesn't really make a difference between cake and pie, if I'm correct. Looking at the Wikipedia pages, I'd have to say that the one that looks most like the delicious appley goodness I sometimes get (and will get tomorrow ^_^) is the pie. So pie it is.0
Pirates or ninjas?
Pirates. Pirates give me a silly accent to fool around with. Ninja just kill people.
Who would win in a fight between an astronaut and a caveman?
Caveman. Those astronaut suits are way too hot.

Except if they're in outer space, then the astronaut wins.
Is there any particular country you'd like to live in one day and why?
Though I really like it here (Whenever I talk to Americans about stuff like health insurance and social security, I am so glad that I live in the Netherlands), I'd say that I may be enticed to move to Iceland. Iceland is a beautiful country. The weather's pretty nice, too (I'm not one for the tropical climates). Though, really, I have to say that I still don't think I'd do it. I'd have to give up cycling, probably, and I wouldn't want to do that.
Shanba wrote:How's the nefarious scheming going?
The world is almost within my grasp.
Xdaamno wrote:Subs or Dubs?
Hmm. I'm not really sure what you're referring to, I have to say. But, well, I'll make something of it. I can't stand Subway. When I was in America, I ate there once, and I wasn't pleased. It's just not tasty. Dubbing is the most detestable thing in tv-making. Seriously. People who dub shows should be round up and shot. I remember watching all the English cartoons when I was a kid. I learned a lot of my English from them. And now, they're all in Dutch. No free English lessons for the kids and, additionally, they suck. The voices are bad, the jokes aren't funny anymore. *sighs*

I'm not much of a fan of dysfunctional uterine bleeding either, for your information.
hasdgfas wrote:what's your best game as town so far?
Probably Unrealistic Mafia. After that, Dungeons&Dragons Mafia or Witch Hunter Mafia, both games where I pretty much round up the entire scumteam by myself. Pokemon II also gets an honourable mention, as I caught the entire scumteam by Night Two (I sent the mod 5 names, 3 of which were the remaining scum. I thought there was still 5 remaining. But still, pretty good).
what's your worst game as town so far?
Probably Face-to-Face. Every game I go inactive is a black page in my book. Face-to-Face was even worse.
what's your best game as scum so far?
Newbie 321. After that, it's difficult. I think I'm a very solid scum player. Most of my games are good.
what's your worst game as scum so far?
Kingmaker (off-site), where I beautifully bussed a buddy, set the entire game up perfectly, then died due to inactivity while I was King. For the rest, everywhere I got replaced, again.
If you were going to die, but had one more mafia game you could play and you could choose any theme you wanted, what would it be and why?
An Invitational with a Best of-theme. I'm a sucker for Best of themes.
Mr. Flay wrote:Shirts or Skins?
Men-->shirts. Women-->skins.

For me, personally, I'd always go for the shirt.
Erg0 wrote:Has there ever been a greater game in Mafiascum history than Newbie 321?
Never.
Sarcastro wrote:What is your name?
Kees.
What is your quest?
Spreading joy and happiness and silly jokes.
What is the average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Forwards or backwards? What planet are we on?
What is the capital of Assyria?
It's history.
What is your favourite colour?
Black.
Why are you so awesome?
It's the kittens.
pickemgenius wrote:I'm a dog. What do you do next?
I'll likely pet you, scratch you behind the ears a bit. I like dogs, really.

Besides, a happy dog is easy prey for when I need dinner.
Lawrencelot wrote:Are you gonna join DP's Dutch mafia game?
I'm afraid it's not likely. It's the kind of game I would definitely join...if I had feeling for it. I need motivation. The one thing I'm lacking now, the one thing that's stopping me from doing more, is motivation. I don't know where it's gone.

I know I could do a lot more than I do now, for school, for Mafia. But when I am not motivated, and I lag just a little bit, even because of a legitimate reason, it becomes so difficult for me to catch up.
ChannelDelibird wrote:Does your lack of response mean that you don't love us anymore?

1.)
If you were a cat and had to have an owner, who would it be?
2.)
You're watching a professional football [soccer for us Americans] game, and suddenly one of the players is injured. For reasons unknown, the coach comes to you and asks if you can slap on some gear and take his place. Would you?
3.)
You can tap any character on the shoulder in a movie and take their place. Who?
4.)
Everybody wants to write their magnum opus. What do you think yours would (generally) be about?
5.)
Favorite cookie (I will not accept bread and sprinkles).
6.)
You are given a one-shot choice to (a) sock somebody through the computer, or (b) hug somebody through the computer. Which would you choose? [You don't have to say who you're socking/hugging].

Then definitely subtitles. Dubbing is a crime against humanity.
Mirth wrote:Favourite breed of kitty?
I really don't know anything about cat breeds, to be honest. I'd have to say that if I could choose, I'd get a cat like this one:

Image

But I don't know what breed it is.

My feet? >.>

I'd have to say the Grand Canyon. It's big.
Albert B. Rampage wrote:How long can you do it ?
Depends on what it is. If it is what I think it is, then I really don't have a clue.
petroleumjelly wrote:
1.)

I'd probably take Ether or voidybuns or Sacred or some other sweet-natured person who I think would hug me a lot and give me a lot of attention. You'd be a contender, but I don't think I could take all the biting. Either that or Bush, so I can use him as scratching post whenever he does something stupid in a vain attempt to make him do smart things.
2.)
You're watching a professional football [soccer for us Americans] game, and suddenly one of the players is injured. For reasons unknown, the coach comes to you and asks if you can slap on some gear and take his place. Would you?
Hells yeah.
3.)
You can tap any character on the shoulder in a movie and take their place. Who?
This is a difficult one, mainly because there are a
lot
of candidates. Personally, I would like to tap a lot of characters on the shoulder, especially in books (if this were books, I'd have to say Orlando Gardiner in Otherland. I think. Jake or Marco of the Animorphs would also be good contenders). For movies, I think Aragorn. Nice character, with a good story (and he winds up with a pretty girl >.>).
4.)
Everybody wants to write their magnum opus. What do you think yours would (generally) be about?
Kittens?

I'd have to say love. Maybe friendship or niceness or something else. It's difficult to put one word on it. At the very least, those three things are the most important things in the world to me.
5.)
Favorite cookie (I will not accept bread and sprinkles).
Chocolate (works when sprinkled on bread, too >.>).
6.)
You are given a one-shot choice to (a) sock somebody through the computer, or (b) hug somebody through the computer. Which would you choose? [You don't have to say who you're socking/hugging].
Hug, no doubt. While socking some people would be a very satisfying experience for me, I think hugging is, in the end, far more constructive and satisfying than socking (and more positive for the one on the other end). Though I really couldn't say who I'd want to hug. It's a pretty long list.

Take a look at this cartoon: http://silversteingallery.com/images/Ad ... merica.jpg be sure it is displayed full scale so that you can read the words.
What is the most concise and accurate summery of that cartoon you can generate?
In what ways do you disagree with its thesis?

Have you ever seen a painting by Mark Rothko in the flesh?

How you you rank the following artists in terms of artistic greatness?
Andrew Wyeth, Norman Rockwell, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning

Have you ever attempted to read James Joyce's
Ulysses
? Did you finish it?
