I feel like some of the new models make hurtboxes more confusing.

The weird clock thing on screen is some new mechanic? Or is it just a new way of communicating the time advantage from either yellow roman cancel or red roman cancel?

roman cancelling now also makes your opponent move in slowmo for a split second, the clock is to communicate that

Goldlewis is most likely first. Wouldn't be surprised if Jam was right before Evo.

Been playing May since release after playing Gio during the beta. I definitely find it bizarre how highly ranked I am despite being pretty garbage. I need to work on using rc better. I also need to work on more consistently hitting a dp motion and using seal for oki.

Does any that plays on Playstation want to play some sets?

at least jack-o looks fun, kind of a venom function. I might switch to her when she releases, since Faust seems destined to be garbage for a very long time

I was bummed that they made jack-o so much more complicated

I’m just sad that they removed her air projectiles that get stronger the more tension you have, those were cool

The loss of her super unique play style is tragic fir sure but I think everyone knew that it couldn’t work in strive. I mean, what would happen to the houses on screen transition?

Even having to control the goons is a bummer.

true, but we'll see. if you can cancel all your normals into the attack command it shouldn't be too bad

also it looks like its going to be way harder to sandwich the opponents with jack-o than with other summon characters like zato, because you have no easy way to get a goon behind the opponent
