I ALWAYS policy 3p claims - they nearly always flip scum.

they're never gonna play to town wincon regardless - they're just a spicy traitor waiting to stab us in the back. but in all likliehood these plays come from scum and 3p is usually much more subtle and doesn't just claim. >rand of just being a straight scum claim.

I probably got this game broken wide open already but it's the second day of day one and there are tons of people who having gotten much of their own two cents in since the game moved on to more serious topics

I agree the early claim is sketch but I don’t think a 100% policy is a good call in all games
I have found in my mafia career that always limming the 3p claim leads to a better chance of winning - in my chat mafia career when I played a setup that had a role that was 3p but not implicitly unable to win with town, I always policed it because it would prevent them from jointing with scum. I currently have the highest winrate on that setup. guaranteed elimination outside of town + getting night actions in is a pretty good deal if i do say so.
