- both have hit tonal markers for me. In particular, ffery's push back on Cabd about pocketing (I believe ceph used the term feisty?) was a big one, and Bell's 458 is the snark we know and love.

Sleez

- I liked the early interaction with manatee that I've already weighed in on. I like the analysis on Lukewarm in 421 and 427. When I've been working on this, that actually helped make it make a bit more sense than I originally expected.

Leantown

Pooky

- He reminds me of Tarot pooky, particularly day 1. I can kinda see what Bell said about being a bit performative, but I'm not super concerned about it at this point. This is subject to move after I chat with bulge.

CephTD

- I liked his weigh in around ffery that I mentioned higher up on the readslist. I also liked 200 and the paranoia around LLD in 222. Also I'd wager the focus around the shard mechanic is >rand town as thats the kinda random shit town chases. I do want to see more solving out of them at some point though.

- I liked her response to ffery over the shards, I liked her callout of Titus's weird mindmeld post in 417, and I liked the vote on Medea.

I don't know his full history, and maybe im just used to it by now but it just feels like artificial busywork looking back. And yeah I commented on it being tricky to understand them and like, I get it, but multiple people said to leave it.

- Titus's comments about me not sharing reads was weird given I was like the first to actually do it. Will probably be easier to read over time.

Medea

- I'm on the fence. Cabd's intro felt off as most of us have already said, particularly the "I have reads but PA said I cant." Like normally there's this race to see who can gather the most townreads early and it just wasnt really there from him? 245 felt weird to me before ffery confirmed they hadn't played together post-2181. LLD read feels a bit weird, and it's weird he hasn't really elaborated on any of the other townreads he supposedly had by this point. (And no, he cant claim ffery's one becasue of 245). PA's felt alright but doesnt outweigh my misgivings about Cabd, I liked 270 a bit but could also see it as a distance. 369 feels weird to see in a post, instead of like a private comment. This one is also subject to move after I talk with Bulge.

AA9

- I've talked about her in my ISO already. But the short version is her line of questioning of me feels weird given everything about her line of questioning was something I've discussed both before and after the line of questioning.

Luke has played a couple games with town-me, a game with town-Cabd, and a game with town-morph (the same one Manatee played). I don't think he's the sort of player who takes others' opinions under advisement until/unless he's established a read/some trust there.

You say you're on the fence about Medea but you have them as a scumread you might move over to. This doesn't feel all that on-the-fence to me.

Annie Edison - I echo sleez's sentiment here when it comes to them being one of the only people i think are approaching Medea in a (towny) manner (theres definitely a better word to get across what im trying 2 say here) so they can have a townread for now. i buy the whole "wanna be town saviour" shtick for now at least.

AA9 - i think most of the convo surrounding them has been their slip which was just nothing??? that discussionfeels misguided at best. i'll admit i dont wanna look for their iso and theyve been pretty forgettable so far

• Medea Wagon as of 350. A relook at the ganestate around this time finds I don't dislike most of the wagon at this point. I think pookys loudness regarding it is pretty towny, and LLD and sleez entered the wagon pretty naturally. STD's vote ISNT my favourite bc i cant tell how serious it was at that point and it seems purposely written to read as such.

I don't see why AA9/Medea are scum together. Your lower end of reads are basically incative players and then Medea, which has been a large focus to you. I think at this point Medea has been talked enough to where it's becoming an agitation, and it can even be shown by the way Medea is responding right now. Why is Medea such an object of desire to you? Why is it to everyone. I see a lot being talked about around Medea but you're the only person who is really trying to figure her out. I give you credit to that end but nobody else.

Lukewarm saw a fun little wagon then realized it might be a bad idea, and instead of owing up to the process made a convenient example for himself. He's very scummy.

This is probably untrue given that the mod listed the current demons as Low which is 0-2, and the scumteam is comprised of 3 last I checked the OP. I don't think this is a townslip.

I don't look at the game backwards. My objective is to remove scummy people. Lukewarm is still scummy. Manatee thinks he's scummy too, it's just bonus for me.

This is why I'm fine with Manatee. I see the process, and her means of trying to work through it. Her apologies about being messy didn't seem like an excuse rather she just doesn't trust herself. I like that she seemed unguarded in that moment and just let it happen instead of pretending it didn't. She owned up to her own mistakes because she really wanted to have her thoughts get out there regardless.

I would even say that my theory is that while yes, town can use shards, scum actually wants to be the one to get them.

I think Manatee isn't scum because I believe lesser scum are more inclined to give out reads at the drop of a hat. You know, look like they're doing something and being organic. Nothing about Manatee seems rushed, which bodes well for her behavior earlier about her own confidence. The only thing that has stuck me in terms of if I'm wrong about you is that you were guilty conscience spewing earlier. I think a common tactic for scum is to sometimes to be dangerously honest, because it can trip townies up who are looking for more deceptive and evasive responses. Tone is just one aspect of play. I think tone is probably the easiest thing to rely upon. I gave you a pass due to your tone but we're at D2 right now and I have to be a bit more meticulous. Generally I believe in the most surface level players (this is not an insult) have some sort of dialogue in their head that keeps them posting. Makes their progression make sense. You can go ahead and take this as something to latch onto for your scumgame but the reason you were caught out is the fact your progression made no sense yet you were formatting posts as if you've given them proper thought. Yet the result did not match, therefore we eliminated you.

yes! i've liked spiffeh most of the game so far so im trying to make sure im not just blindly sheeping his read. i do like it though xd.

i think pookys response asking for agression is weird? maybe im overreading it but it feels like hes asking for spiffeh to go all in out of hopes of finding something to rebuke?? idk i think its weird overall from pooky

on medea: ive been told im probably making a huge jump here but i dont think most scum players would end day with their position on a slot they know is town being split. Theres so much more to be gained from taking a concrete position and id assume most scum hydras would agree on one and state it to gain credit.

on lukewarm: i think the case was incredibly towny, and in general just dont think scum makes a mechanical case on town as a method of trying to mislim them

hmm. that also makes sense i guess i kinda trapped my original thought process and then it marinated all night with no other input and BOOM the slot is town in my eyes. im still more confident in pooky right now, and part of my read on medea was liking most of the people that wagoned them early. pooky changes that perspective, so i guess analyzing associations btwn the two is the next thing for me to do

on the topic of dunn: i think his crazy takes read as super genuine and the adjustment between not taking stances and staying in a relatively spot for D1 to D2 where hes posting an abundance of hot takes is an adjustment made by town w genuine desire to solve
