As far as strategy, I personally try to stay on the upper landing; entirely anecdotal, but I feel like Omens are less present up there than the Basement in particular.

However now that Lillith is in the basement it might not hurt to have a second person down there to find the stairs. Or we can abandon her I guess!

I used the ground floor this time because I only have 3 speed right now and I want to be able to move again if I find a room without anything interesting in it. Trying to get people onto the rooms that give you a one time stat boost before the haunt is also something I like to try to do

I meant if you roll Xd6-X you get 6 dice that roll {1-1,2-1,3-1} i.e. {0,1,2}.

What you are doing is dice that roll {1,2,0}

So the distribution of Xd6 3s are 0s and Xd6-X are the same but you don't have to manually work out the total with the latter
