By the time the final day of our enabling AniX's self-indulgence marathon dawns, the users posting in my [RC] threads will have learned my practical approach to read and transcribe verbal language; whether it's Matt McConaughey's or any other idiosyncrasy-laden way of speaking that's being emulated.

Behold:
+ * ~ ,

Aside from the arsenal of characters --consisting solely of lowercase letters and numbers to be found on the English(US) keyboard layout-- (each representing a unique sound) per sé, we tap into the power of the four magnificent special-function characters above to convey the length and stress of each syllable.
  • + means stressed & short
  • * stressed & long
  • ~ long
  • , short
  • ! the syllable{s} is/are being shouted; until !}
  • _ whisper {}
  • ^ capitalized, ^^ all-uppercase {}
You may suggest a name for the system, and I'll add it to the poll; later. For now, I'll refer to it as shadowspeak:
  • q and y as in
    awe
    s
    o
    me:
    *q,sym
  • a as in Hahah! or Dr. Eleanor "Ellie"
    ^,ha*ha! ,or ^{*dak,tr +e2,e,nr "^}+e2~i"
  • w and e as in
    A
    rrow
    a
    y
    ^+w,ryu,ei
  • i as in /
    i
    n!
    /!+in!
  • u and 0 as in m
    oo
    dw
    a
    r
    *mud~u0r
  • 1 and o as in New York
    ^,ni1u ^*iork
  • x and z as in
    sh
    enanigan
    s
    ,xn*w,ni~gnz
Once you attain proficiency, consider contributing to my second RC thread: "things not to like about the website"; where we may exclusively shadowspeak
Spoiler: --the classy way would be to provide snapshots of a famous person depicting the facial gestures you associate with the tone you wish to imbue the text with and the style/enunciation/accent to be accommodated
