Wow, I figured I was going out, but because everyone would give the obvious answer. What is wrong with you guys, heaters are mandatory but lots of people don't even HAVE air conditioning to begin with! :o

I did note the fact that someone people don't have air conditioning in my answer, but still went with heater because of the saying that "You can always put more clothes on if you're too cold, but you can't take them off if you're too hot".

And as someone who has experienced extended power outages with outdoor temperatures of 100F and of 20F, if I had to do one over again, I'd pick the latter. At least I could sleep in the cold.

Let me guess the second one: Winter Storm Uri a few years ago?

I did give the obvious answer though or at least for me, as I used the air conditioner one more time in the past year than I did the heater (may be because I forget how the chimney works and therefore an failing to light the fire).

Although I probably did actually put the heater on more times while driving, but basically only because the windows frosted up.

I also tied my thinking into the fact we collectively made it sunnier earlier in the game

Q22: Name three reasons why someone may decide not to own a car.

Money/Too expensive (12):
Cephrir, Datisi, DeasVail, Haschel Cedricson, Iprobablysuck, JerryArr, mallowgeno, Merlyn, N, pablito, Silverclaw, VashtaNeurotic
Good public transportation (9):
Cheery Dog, Datisi, Haschel Cedricson, mallowgeno, Merlyn, racefan12, Silverclaw, SleepyKrew, VashtaNeurotic
Environment (6):
Cephrir, Haschel Cedricson, Iprobablysuck, JerryArr, mallowgeno, N
Lost/No driver's license (5):
Cheery Dog, DeasVail, N, racefan12, VashtaNeurotic
Traffic (2):
DeasVail, pablito
Walkable city (2):
Cephrir, Datisi

Non-scoring answers

Anxiety: Iprobablysuck
Can get rides from someone else: SleepyKrew
Can use someone else's car: racefan12
Can't pass driver's test: Silverclaw
Don't need to go far: JerryArr
Live close to work: Merlyn
Never learned how to drive: SleepyKrew
Nowhere to keep one: Cheery Dog
Parking: pablito

Irrelevant players

biancospino (12): I like trains, Petrol costs, Driving sucks
DragonEater70 (20): Environmental consciousness, Saving money, Prefers not to be stuck in traffic
Ircher (14): Because the person cannot drive, Because the person cannot afford a car, Because the person lives in a walkable area and doesn't need a car
StrangerCoug (27): Too expensive, Good public transport, Not good for environment

I
could
have grouped some of the scoring answers together (in particular "don't need to go far", "live close to work", and "walkable city", but I don't think it makes much of a practical difference here.

We have two players among those in contention with a perfect score of 27: Haschel Cedricson and mallowgeno. I also achieved the feat.
SleepyKrew has the lowest score and drops to level 4.

Can't pass driver's test and never learnt to drive are pretty similar imo. Could even be the same as no license

I admit that we're biased here (and that it doesn't matter for us), but I would like to hear the logic.
If the only path forward is difficult, it's still better than none. I'll meet you there.

I mean, learning how to drive would most certainly help you pass the driver's test, but I interpreted "can't pass the driver's test" as attempting the test at least once, whereas "never learned to drive" doesn't imply that.

I
can
group all the reasons why someone might not have a driver's license together if everyone agrees. It'll affect who drops, though.

Clearly those are the reasons why they also lost their licence.

biancospino in irrelevant players should be getting points from I like trains into public transport I feel.

I would also connect my non-scoring answer with pablitos, but that's probably just because I I know I was thinking in terms of available parking for some places.

Q23: Name five game shows.

Jeopardy! (14):
Cephrir, Cheery Dog, Datisi, DeasVail, Haschel Cedricson, Iprobablysuck, JerryArr, mallowgeno, N, pablito, racefan12, Silverclaw, SleepyKrew, VashtaNeurotic
Wheel of Fortune (12):
Cephrir, Cheery Dog, DeasVail, Haschel Cedricson, Iprobablysuck, JerryArr, mallowgeno, N, pablito, racefan12, Silverclaw, SleepyKrew
Family Feud (9):
Cephrir, Cheery Dog, Datisi, Haschel Cedricson, JerryArr, mallowgeno, pablito, Silverclaw, SleepyKrew
The Price Is Right (8):
DeasVail, Haschel Cedricson, Iprobablysuck, JerryArr, mallowgeno, N, pablito, SleepyKrew
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (6):
Datisi, DeasVail, Haschel Cedricson, Iprobablysuck, N, VashtaNeurotic
Deal or No Deal (5):
Cephrir, Cheery Dog, mallowgeno, N, Silverclaw
Press Your Luck/Whammy! (3):
Iprobablysuck, JerryArr, Silverclaw
The Chase (2):
Datisi, DeasVail
Countdown (2):
pablito, racefan12
Survivor (2):
Datisi, VashtaNeurotic

Non-scoring answers

Big Brother: VashtaNeurotic
The Genius: racefan12
Match Game: Cephrir
Pointless: Cheery Dog How ironic...
Takeshi's Castle: racefan12
Taskmaster: SleepyKrew
Weakest Link: VashtaNeurotic

Irrelevant players

Ircher (39): Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Family Feud, America Says, Deal or No Deal
StrangerCoug (43): Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, The Price Is Right, Family Feud, Let's Make a Deal

As for why I locked Silverclaw's answers, I told them after they submitted them that I was going to attend The Price Is Right Live over the weekend. (It was great, by the way :) If you follow me on Facebook or Threads, I posted a little about it there.) With the exception of the celebrity question, people usually haven't been changing their minds about their answers, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With that, Haschel Cedricson gets a perfect score with 49 points!
VashtaNeurotic, with the lowest score, is the weakest link. We won't be saying goodbye to him yet, but he does drop to level 5.
Merlyn fails to submit and therefore gets an activity strike and drops to level 5.
