EXT. CEREMONY HALL

The AUDIENCE enters a large chamber with rows and rows of church pews and a single aisle with a golden yellow fabric reflecting the light against the sparkling glass-stained windows. An unnatural light source deep in the circus tent dungeons.

The RINGMASTER steps onto a podium on a lifted stage at the end of the aisle.

THE RINGMASTER:

Silly guys, gals, and my non binary pals, gather round, hear this tale, for you shall for ever be linked to myself and one another. We will be friends forever.

A ray of primary yellow light burns through the cave rock ceiling and blasts into the RINGMASTER’s chest, and it reflects back into the audience. The audience is lifted off the ground before a dark shadow covers them.

A heavy blanket of warmth smothers the audience, as they wake up back at the carnival.

A DARK JESTER has its bells fall off of their jingle belled hat, and their blue wardrobe turns into clothing. Transforming, they no longer look like a Jester.

THE RINGMASTER:

Be free, my eternal friend. You have earned your enlightenment. You have earned your freedom. You have brought my a collection of new soul friends. Until we meet again, Roden.

- Once per game, choose a player unaligned with the Dark Jesters to Enlighten. This will not change the Level of Enlightenment.

Cupid's Arrow

- Once per game, target 2 players. This action is Strongwilled. The next phase only, if one of the players are chosen to become Enlightened, they both will. If both players are Town and become Enlightened, the Level of Enlightment will still only raise by 1.[/area]

Thanks to TemporalLich and Bingle for reviewing and helping with behind the scene modding!

I'll get to my thoughts in a little bit, a lot of them in the spectator thread, though.

Setup wise, I would probably make the Magical Fairy/Observer shots limited to each, and then give Paladin a reason to possibly not act Night 1, like 1-shot.

I think scum played well.

I also definitely feel that this is out of that comfy zone, and just completely flipped on how to play normally, but I do think this setup was pretty solidly put together. It's setup so that, for the most part, it can always get down to a Final 4 or a Final 3 if a Cupid Arrow ability is used.

TBH it was Roden who was townie + your interaction with Alianna seemed unaligned (you said "why is the person who's scumreading me for trying to have fun this game town exactly?" IIRC)

Idk, i remember someone saying that Roden was "just there" but was town because i was townie or something, maybe i dreamed it coz i cant find it.
As for the later... Well that's just me reacting like how i would as town, nothing else. (tbh i never expected my own partner to distance in that way, but it helped create a more convincing distancing i guess)

I wasn't even lock towning Alianna, I just thought she was moderately towny. Like I 100% preferred to go Night Lights over Alianna, and I also wanted Kitty over Alianna, but Black was bullying me and saying that Alianna was the Day 1 spare no matter what so I gave in and lost interest in solving.

If I'd had my way then we'd gone something like Kitty > Black/Aureal > Something Cool, or even Black > Aureal (or Alianna I guess if Aureal died, but it depends on my Day 2 reads in that scenario) > Something Cool

Not blaming Black, I just had zero WIM this game because nobody was listening to me (including Python, but it's good that Python didn't listen to me Day 2)
