The Marathon Weekend will be this coming weekend, starting on the Friday (16th) and ending on the Monday (19th).
For anyone who is not aware, Marathon Weekends are extremely short games which are played in real-time. Signups and games happen in the Marathon Forum, located here. They can last from a few minutes to a few hours, and are often more casual than ordinary mafia games as a result. There's no official system to marathons - anyone can just create a thread and moderate whatever kind of game they want. Most games played will have a smaller player count than usual, but there are usually some larger games too.
This marathon weekend will be, in part, a test to see if we can get more activity if Marathon Weekends are held on holidays that aren't actively celebrated by people. Please participate if you are able!
