I'm actually not sure. I'm currently debating whether it would be better to scale back on the aggressiveness there or not.

If so, how exactly do you intend to achieve it?

I'm not in any position to do it, but the 2 major ways are

1) Russia bribing China over to their side over the USA's and then basically marching to the Persian Gulf, leaving the major cities intact while demolishing government infastructure and taking over oil supplies, then using that as leverage over time to dominate the world.

2) Some how get India and Pakistan to ally, and create a new Arabic-Indian Empire and do the whole leveraging resources vs the world. Also China would have to be friendly to this empire.

And neither of these work if the USA is in a remotely competent state to defend its indirectly owned assets.
