1 or 2 would secure victory. 3 does 1 damage, 4 is tie, 5 or 6 does damage to me.

With a +3ATK build, the odds of winning a single fight are around 86.5%, which is a tiny bit higher than Lvl1's 84.9%. The only reason it's harder is the increased number of enemies.
The overall chances of Lvl2 success are 36.2%, while the Lvl1 ones are 44.1%.

Just a thought, Level 2 should go rather quickly, as you can deal a maximum of 8 damage with 1 roll.

Actually, they won't go as quickly as you might think. The higher the opponent's ATK/DEF, the slower the match will go, and the lower the maximum damage. In this case, I can only do a maximum of 4 damage per turn. Same applies to my opponent because we both have -1 to our rolls.

In fact, the slowest matchup would be 3 DEF vs 3 DEF with the highest damage possible being 2. This is also
the most prone
to ties due to the first three rolls doing the same thing (1 damage).

But the active player should never choose 3 DEF, because ATK is strictly better than DEF, as it essentially causes the same result, but there is no cap.
