Here's how it works:
I would need 2 debaters and 3 adjudicators (I can take one of the spot of adjudicator). This debate would be a half British-parliamentary debate. One debater would take the role of Prime Minister and Depute Prime Minister. The another debater would take the role of Leader of Opposition and Deputy Leader of Opposition.
The adjudicator, however, would vote instead of discuss
If we get 4 debaters, we would have full British-parliamentary. One speaker takes the whole Opening Government. One speaker takes the whole Opening Opposition. One speaker takes the whole Closing Government. One speaker takes the whole Closing Opposition. I have voting method ready for adjudicator in case of 4 speakers.
I am the one who gives the motion to debate.
Since this is British Parliamentary, we expect you, as speaker
[X] To not access the internet to case build
[X] Since BP regrets Spreading, a minute = 240 words. Since BP is 7 minutes, your word limit is 1680 words.
[X] No text formatting please. (Such as bold, italic, etc) However, you can make it into paragraph.
[X] To not edit once you publish.
[X] To speak in a reasonable response time.
Due to the format, there will be no POI.
Since this is British Parliamentary, we expect you, as adjudicator
[X] To explain the reasoning off your adjudication.
[X] Since this is online, we allow you to re-read case. It still helps to takes note.
For the first edition, I have to reject lay debater/ lay adjudicator (people with no debating experience. However, if you had adjudicated, you can try to debate and vice versa) In future edition, I would (absolutely) allow lay debater. but for the first edition, we need to set some standard.
I have one pre-in from Aronis. I assume he wants to be a speaker.
