At the merge, with no editing, it is a three-way tie between Cheery, Shadoweh, and Vijarada. A lot of dice rolling happens at the merge though, so things probably will change.

Interestingly, I've made Nexus and Reck into double minorities. They are original Kalahuah (which is now the minority) and also new Kalahuah (which is the minority tribe).

EPISODE 8

The Merge

Aapoei and Kalahuah merge into the new Kalapoei Tribe.
JDGA and Vijarada are glad to be together again.
Cherve and Drench are happy to see each other.
Gamma is relieved to have Felissan back.
All other original friends and enemies have faded with time.

Kalapoei Events

Catching up with some people, Felissan begins throwing shade about Cheery and the threat he poses right now.
Nexus and Cheery catch up having not seen one another in awhile.
Chevre leaves camp to go walk in the woods, but finds himself being watched by Gamma when he does.
Drench approaches Shadoweh and mentions that with the merge, it makes sense for them to consider working together. Shadoweh lets him know she'll consider it.
Gamma lets Felissan know that they are still a team, and they fill each other in on some tribe dynamics.
Chevre vents to JDGA about Gamma's stalking, and JDGA promises to mention it if it becomes appropriate.
Vijarada and Mallow have some light chit-chat sitting near the fire. Vijarada feels that Mallow is being awkward though.
Nexus calls out Gamma for continually checking up on Chevre as being a creep.
Mallow and Reck meet one another for the first time, but Reck lets Mallow know that no matter how you draw tribe lines, they aren't on the same side.
Vijarada and Shadoweh meet for the first time and correctly recognize that they have a chance to manipulate both sides of the tribe for their benefit.
Mallow meets with Xalxe to discuss aligning alone tribe lines for now. Xalxe seemingly agrees.
Drench and Vijarada are talking, but Vijarada plainly recognizes that the tribe doesn't see Drench as an immediate threat at this stage and they should.
JDGA and Xalxe take a moment to discuss things now that they've merged and to lock down their alliance.
Vijarada pulls Reck aside for a moment and shows him his hidden immunity idol to solidify their alliance.

Individual Immunity Challenge #1

Each person will balance their feet on a very narrow perch while holding a handle above their head. If at any point, they let go of the handle or a foot comes off the perch, they are out of the challenge. The last person left standing wins immunity.

- The castaways take their places and begin the challenge.
- After about thirty seconds Vijarada steps down complaining about a cramp in his arm.
- After fifteen minutes T-Probst brings out food to tempt the castaways. Reck immediately steps down for a plate of fries. Felissan also steps down, but he doesn't get any food for doing so.
- After 25 minutes Nexus takes his hand off the handle absent-mindedly and eliminates himself.
- At the 30 minute mark T-Probst offers the castaways a cheeseburger and a beer, which Drench steps down for.
- A few minutes later Mallow has to step down complaining of his back. Only half the castaways remain.
- Shadoweh steps down a few minutes after Mallow complaining about pain in her knees.
- At 45 minutes T-Probst offers a full pizza to the next player who steps down. Gamma looks to his left and right, and then decides to step down and claim it.
- At the one hour mark, Xalxe asks T-Probst to bring out more food. He doesn't, but Xalxe steps down anyway. Only three remain.
- After 75 minutes Cheery is forced to step down, leaving a showdown between Chevre and JDGA.
- Ten minutes later JDGA shouts across the pitch that she's not voting for Chevre, and he can step down, very loudly for everyone else to hear. Chevre considers this for a moment, and then shockingly steps down.
- JDGA wins Individual Immunity! She is safe at Tribal Council tonight! Someone will be voted out and become the first member of the jury!

Kalapoei Camp Life

There is a hidden immunity idol hidden near camp....Vijarada finds the hidden immunity idol!
Felissan comes back from the challenge with energy and pulls Mallow aside to fill him in on his plan, although they can't agree on who to target right away.
JDGA thanks Chevre for stepping down in the challenge, promising him that she'll repay the kindness.
Drench and Xalxe get a chance to hang out in the ocean together as neither feel particularly stressed about tonight.
Gamma tries to come up to Felissan about the vote, but stops when he sees him with Mallow and walks away instead.
Xalxe congratulates JDGA for her unexpected win, but JDGA is a little hurt Xalxe thought it was weird.
Mallow approaches Cheery and talks about making a vote along tribe lines, to which Cheery feels this is a smart course of action.
Shadoweh stirs up trouble by giving Gamma the heads up about a potential plan against him.
Nexus has a conversation with Mallow about the vote, but recognizes that Mallow is holding back, just giving him short answers and statements instead of real conversation.
Xalxe and Felissan confer with one another quickly before the tribe heads out.
The tribe leaves for Tribal Council.

Tribal Council #9

The tribe enters and T-Probst asks about old tribe lines, but some think it is complicated.
Some of the tribe who never encountered Shadoweh before now complain that she is extremely lazy around camp, prompting some knowing looks from everyone else.
They litigate this to Xalxe, who does a lot of work around camp.
Vijarada says that he expects someone to be extremely surprised, and his hubris does not go over well.
Reck says he hopes that whoever is voted out appreciates the play that sends them out, to which some of the tribe agrees.

If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so. Vijarada stands up and raises his hand. He digs through his bag and produces an idol. "I got a gut feeling." he says, handing the idol to T-Probst.

This is a hidden immunity idol, all votes cast against Vijarada will not count. Vijarada fist pumps as T-Probst reveals the first vote.

That was a fun episode huh? A lot of movement happened in alliances and such that entering tribal council I didn't know who was getting voted out. Luckily for Vijarada he entered Tribal Council as the biggest threat and knew to use one of his hidden immunity idols (he still has another one). After him there was a three-way tie between Gamma, Mallow, and Nexus. Ultimately, Nexus was in a spot where no one really liked him, where enough people viewed him as a higher threat than Gamma and Mallow, and higher than Vijarada based on relationships. JDGA dissented with the Mallow vote, as her dislike for Mallow burned hot, and also she likes Vijarada and Nexus. Vijarada, Reck, Shadoweh, Gamma, and Chevre each had their own reasons for this vote, but it boiled down to preferences, and then alliances. Similarly, Felissan, Cheery, Drench, Mallow, and Xalxe recognized Vijarada as the biggest threat and voted for him. As you can see, idol play is the weakness of this sim, since there is nothing anyone can do to 'flush out' idols. But I think it balances itself out because a player can play an idol even if they don't need to. For example, if Gamma or Mallow possessed an idol tonight they would have played it, because they were in 'getting voted out' range, despite ultimately receiving zero and one vote respectively.
