Many of you may be familiar with this game as this is the 5th time it's being run. And I am proud to say that my previous version was the longest running INVE$TMENT$ game to date. Hopefully this one can beat that record. The premise of the game is simple, you are an investor given some virtual dollars and use those dollars to buy virtual stocks which fluctuate about once a day in an attempt to make as much money as possible. In addition to that you can participate in various exciting events from time to time. I will be in charge of the government, the businesses that are selling stocks, and pretty much anything that isn't player controlled. To join just start buying stocks, you have $750.

RULE$:

Atm I only have this one rule, but I may add others later.

1. If you do not do anything for 10 game days (days in which I post an update), all Normal stocks you have will be liquidated for their current cash value and you will be added to the list of inactive players. Once on the inactive players list, you may rejoin the game at any time by purchasing stocks.

The game is back!!!

So if you played in my original game, you should be listed under the inactive players tab with however much money you earned. That money transfers over to this game. Or if you played in Maestro's game, but not mine, you can get a $250 credit and start with $1000, just let me know when you join. Last and least, you can just start with $750.

I'll try to post updates once a day as much as possible. Then I'll probably do a lot of special events in the first week or so of this game, since it's spring break and I'll have a fair amount of free time. After that I'll probably aim to do about 2-3 a week.

No, the board was fired for corruption and embezzlement following an IRS audit. It may still pay out dividends, but it does not follow the old rules the board had in place. It's similar, but I tweaked it some.
