Objective:

Visitors:

Be the last visitor alive and pick out the Good Ghost!

Good Ghost:

Get the surviving Visitor to choose you over the Bad Ghost!

Bad Ghost:

Get the surviving Visitor to choose you over the Good Ghost!

How to Play:

1.

Each round, the players will enter a new locale in the carnival and be asked to hide in one of four hiding spots. Once everyone has hidden, hiding spots will be revealed, and the Bad Ghost will choose one of the Visitors to kill. The Bad Ghost cannot kill a Visitor that is hiding with the Good Ghost, UNLESS all Visitors and the Good Ghost are hiding in the same location. (If this happens, the Bad Ghost will also be shown to be hiding in the same location.) The Bad Ghost may choose not to kill if they wish; however, that will extend the game and likely lead to them being caught.

2.

Play continues with the remaining alive players, until 3 players remain: the Bad Ghost, the Good Ghost, and the last surviving Visitor. At that point, the Visitor must choose who they think is the Good Ghost. If they choose correctly, they will be able to escape the carnival alive! If not, the Bad Ghost kills them and wins.

Episode 1

The Carousel

"It'll be fun!" your friends said, when they dragged you out of the house to visit Bonesy & Ulna's Olde-Tyme Carnival. So you put on your cutest outfit -- a fitted plaid button-up, dark wash jeans and some fairly conservative Midwesterner boots -- a carpooled to the outskirts of time where all the fun and games had been set up.

You arrive as a big group of laughing, chattering friends, ready to take the carnival by storm. But when you get there, it's an eerie place! You can see people rumbling up the midway and screaming on rides, but it's all muffled, like it's all behind a cage of glass. There's a purple haze in the air, but you don't think too much of it; it seems to make all the flashing lights and movement of the carnival more electric.

The first thing you stop in front of is a grandiose carousel. Painted in immaculate detail, it's the biggest one you've ever seen. You see the rows of carved animals, and you swear you never see the same one twice. The music of the carousel is giddy, it seems like it's going faster and faster but never too fast. After a brief glance at the thrills and games that await elsewhere, you decide they can wait. You're ready to hop on -- but which animal seat should you take?

So question: the Bad Ghost can't kill the good ghost right? So can't we have the ghosts claim now and analyze the hiding places? Narrow it down that way?

I got kind of excited over Sea Lion, because I distinctly remember a carousel that had a literal sea lion. It was a lion front half and a fish back half, and I thought Chev might've seen a similar ride...aaaand then I realized it was probably just a murderseal.

To what extent are we allowed to talk about things? Like can we say where we're hiding?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of strategies there could be for this but I'm honestly drawing a blank, no matter what we do one visitor survives and it comes down to a 50-50 shot, I'm not really sure what we can do to increase those odds.

I'm the Good Ghost btw, I'm not really concerned with which one of you people lives, but if you guys have any ideas for how to expose the Bad Ghost let me know, I don't know if there are any. The main ones involve Bad Ghost error which we can't totally discount with who the Bad Ghost is.

I just wanted you to know that I am awful at mafia and this game is very much like mafia so you should not waste your very precious time killing me because I'll never figure out who you are.
