Maybe I should still eliminate the lowest spender? Oh well, rules may be altered a little bit before the game starts.

um
everyone's going to bid 0 all the time forever always
Fickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm
Strongly opinionated or barely invested, but a constant
You know the wind will always come back.

Pretty much required for the game to work

I agree. The object of the game is to spend the smallest number of coins as possible, but you have to be careful because the player who spends the smallest amount each round is eliminated. You have to try to guess what the other players will spend and then spend just enough to avoid being the smallest spender. The game does not work if the highest spender is eliminated instead.

Or it works in that we don't have the starting base.
If you want highest eliminated, everyone bidding on the amount of coins they're take should also work out

I would like to hear other people's comments as well.

And zero coins is never a valid bid.

Highest total leaving cannot possibly work. Good idea but terrible in practice. Something has to change.

Otherwise I'd be in.

There has to be sufficient motivation for spending high. In regular Coin Game there's a pull between spending high to stay alive and spending low to keep a sizable amount of coins in your pocket. In this version, spending 1 coin is the optimal play every single time.

I'm going to suggest a wild twist, a 1d100 dice is rolled every round, all the people who spent less than the number on the dice will get eliminated

Alright, the lowest will be eliminated per usual and the highest receives their coins back.

Divide 5000 by the number of players and everyone gets that amount back?

Must you try to break the game?

Rocks fall and the mod wins. So, don't do it.

Except the rules are easily breakable in the sense that the
highest
gets their coins back. Everyone just goes for 5000 coins (or whatever the max is) and
nothing happens.
