Revenge of the Blackjack - Hand 8/25 - (Replacement, Please)

I've never played BlackJack before, i'm trying to learn the game as I play it but the rules in the OP are a bit unclear on a couple of stuff:

1. Hit means draw cards, right?
2. Stand means stop drawing cards and tally the points I got from my hand, right?
3. What is double down?
4. How much points do I get from my hand? (How is that calculated)

1. Yes.
2. Stand means you stop drawing and you are betting that you'll either have a greater hand value than your opponent or you believe they'll bust when they draw.
3. Double down means you double your bet and you draw one more. You must stop after this.
4. If you win, you get your bet back, and the dealer gives you that same amount.

assuming the order for winning is most points, least cards, high cards. so if they got 21+ you would also need to with a better hand.
