Welcome to Investments! The now 6th game of this to run. I will be running this game with a few changes to previous iterations.

The premise of the game is simple, you are an investor given some virtual dollars and use those dollars to buy virtual stocks which fluctuate about once a day in an attempt to make as much money as possible. In addition to that you can participate in various exciting events from time to time. I will be in charge of the government, the businesses that are selling stocks.

To join just start buying investments, you have $1000. If you have played a previous version of this you will start with $1200 instead.

New Things:

This version introduces a new form investments: Bonds.

Bonds are a new form investments that are a sort of way for investors to mitigate risk as they offer you a stated rate of return on the amount you put into the bonds. Every two days a normal bond will pay its interest out, unless stated otherwise. Bonds are not guaranteed investments just like Stocks, if the company goes under their is a chance you will not redeem the full value of the bond. You cannot sell the bond back to the company you purchased it from either, you must sell it to other players. Bonds with higher stated returns than the market rate are considered more risky.

How To Play:

To Purchase stocks/bonds you must have the available cash to purchase them at the current market price and for the stock to have enough available to sell. Simply bold in here or PM me (subject pref related to Investments) what stocks/bonds you want.
