- World's Hardest Game Link

Time to wrap this up with a doozy of a challenge. The World's Hardest Game might not actually BE the hardest game, but it certainly is challenging. The only way to submit a high score on the site itself is to actually beat it. However for this match we will be more lenient.

You will play this game until you have lost 100 lives. Once your death count is 100 you must stop and take a screenshot. If you want to try again you must start over. HOWEVER I will also need a screenshot of your best 50 lives as well in case of a tie. Again this will only be used in the case of a tie. You guys will each take one of the two Private Topics I created for the previous challenge and submit your scores in there.

Whoever has made it further with 100 lives OR whoever completes the whole game with less lives lost wins! (If a tie the better 50 lives score).

It was brought to my attention the score I posted for Implosion was not correct, but I have fixed it. This does not change any results however.

This was much fun - the amount of fun varied from week to week a lot though with the games. I enjoyed tetris and snake a lot for instance, but in weeks with games i found boring i generally just made like a half hour or an hour of attempts and submitted what I got (i.e. bejewled, qwop). I liked how the scoring system worked out but it ultimately rewards activity so would have been better with more people more active, of course.

It might be interesting to have a large pool of games and have people vote on them for some amount of time, and have the actual games chosen reflect the votes with the higher-voted games coming in later and later weeks and the most-voted game being the finale.

Or maybe like there could be a couple options for a game the next week and whichever game got more votes would be played. So Week 1 would be Tetris but Week 2 players would vote between Snake and Simon for example, the one with more votes would be played? Is that what you mean? I like that idea.

That being said games won't cater to everyone and some people might enjoy other games more. I tried to pick a wide variety of games that hit different skills. That being said I f'd up on a couple with them just being on Chrome or not on MAC and I will definitely bear that in mind in the future.

As far as the activity, I mean yeah you gotta be active to get points. It seems like that is most fair. And challenges run for a week so you should have plenty of time to at least complete one.

Another idea for activity would be you drop your lowest score. So if you forgot to submit one week or really don't like the game then you would just drop that score. But I don't want that to hurt activity levels though.

The only problem I see with that is that players will just try and get good for the other games that will be revealed. I want the idea to be kind of like you get better as the week progresses
