well 6 is too many and it can't be 5. It's 4 in a 10 person league, which is 40%. In the actual NFL it's 37%. 6 would be 50%. That's just way too many. Ask any NBA fan.

But hey, when I'm complaining about how 10-man leagues are far better than 12 man ones, maybe you should chime in!

yeah but literally thats the only argument even a smidgen valid for 10 team leagues.

im surprised you wouldnt argue for 14 team leagues with a smaller bench.

everyone can play everyone once. 6/14 playoff spots isnt absurd.

if id want anything to change about 12 team setups(with ms format) is that you could drop 1 bench slot maybe.

10 team leagues too easy.
12 team leagues awkward playoffs(ish, i guess)
14 team leagues rosters too deep.

NFL = 12/32 -> 3/8, 3.75/10, 4.5/12, 5.25/14, 6/16

4 is only thing that makes sense in 10 and 12 players as 3 and 5 are crazy

I actually prefer 10 team leagues as its easier to find replacements and pickups especially when crippling injuries occur

Assuming projections hold it really should be

1. Racefan
2. Peg
3. Pablito
4. Jahudo
5. Panzer
6. Cow
7. Gamesbre
8. Me
9. KMD
10. Wraith
11. Lamora
12 T-bone

I want KMD to win so we ain't got to enforce relegation for an afk

Yeah, our division race has been great. I'm pretty disappointed I second-guessed dropping Jordan Howard from my starting lineup for Jamaal Williams last week, as that change would have won me the game, but it's nice to see it all so tight. I was worried about my team after the start of the year, but am very happy with how it ended up.

L3 playoffs are set, except for the seedings, after Mjollnir came up just short, losing by 2 to Nero.

Playoff teams:

(1) Ninja Squad - 11-2, 1264.82
(2) Xalxe's Sportballers - 9-4, 1167.86
(3) Kuruoshi Pengin - 8-5, 1105.66
(4) Reindeer - 8-5, 1102.72

Current projections have the seeds staying as they are - Xalxe is only a slight favorite (53%) but even if I win PP is projected to outscore me and keep the 3 seed.

Sharon has only had three games where she scored under 90; her two losses, and her game against me (where I happened to have my worst showing of the season). She actually would have still gone 11-2 if she had just played me every week. Yikes.

I guess Xalxe and I really care about this division title. Currently projected 119.35-115.93 in my favor, top two scores of the week. Beating PP comfortably, so I’m the 3 seed if I win, but 4 seed if I lose since PP will win.

Is division record not the tiebreaker for overall seeding?

I'm not sure of the exact scenario in your league that you're referring to, but if you mean comparing between a division winner and a wild-card team (from a different division) with identical records, I believe points scored would be the tiebreaker there.

mith and I are in the same division though, so when I'm the wildcard team will it still be points scored to determine overall seeding?

So all of the following is true:

The two of you are in the same division, with the same overall record, both are going to make the playoffs, one of you has the better divisional record, and the other has the higher points scored?

Then... if I had to guess, probably the one with the better divisional record is treated as "winning the division", but the one with the higher points scored actually gets the better seed.

Yes, Xalxe will be the 2 seed even if I win the division. Division title only guarantees a playoff spot, after that it’s down to win-loss and then points scored for seeding. The wild card could take the 1 seed, though I’ve never seen that happen.

It comes down to NE def in the matchup between pablito and Jahudo in L2. If NE earns 1 more than projected, then I lose and then hasdgfas will steal the wildcard on points. If NE earns at or lower than projected then I win and then Jahudo has enough points to take wildcard, right?
Sup, later.

It also comes down to NE def between me and Xalxe, though I need a bit more help from them - currently down 15.42 (124.86-109.44).

Really, though, do I *want* the 3 seed and a rematch with Xalxe? Xalxe has been better over the last few weeks than Sharon.

I mean, I'm probably going to overtake you on total points, so
losing
last week didn't cost you a playoff spot. Scoring 67 might have though. :)

(Mjollnir on the other hand came up ~2 points short last week of me being very nervous tonight. I'm not catching him on points.)

I believe you are correct. Jahudo is getting in playoffs win or lose. He will either be 3 or 4 cause of his high points. You will either be 3rd or 5th

I kinda want you to win pablito since I should have beat cow earlier in the season by playing Chris Thompson more. If you win pablito then it doesn't matter that I lost to cow as I would not have enough points to usurp Jahudo. And You winning well also undo cow from getting in. I would feel like my loss was void kinda like what D3f is saying.

I had 3 players on my team get injured and go out for the season this year and could still had playoff chances throughout the season since I drafted well. I am currently guaranteed at least 9th so I'm going no where this year for the 3rd year in a row. If Gamesbre beats KMD then I think Gamesbre may need relegated due to the Panzer rule. I would like KMD to stay in our league since Sharon may be in our league next year. Husband and Wife in same league amuses me.

Peg and Racefan will be 1 or 2 seeds. Racefan needs to beat me and if he does not than Peg is 1 because of his league high score

Are the leagues tiered with promotion/relegation or do they have equal footing?

Also we should consider a keeper league next year.

Yes all leagues are eligible for promotion and relegation. Go to viewtopic.php?p=9795217#p9795217 for details

Obviously no one in league 3 gets relegated and no one from league 1 gets promoted, but you get the idea
