That blocked kick... Ugh.
Let you win by half a point.
Yuuuup. 0.48 point win. I'll take it (at least until a stat correction comes out...).
I feel pretty good with where my team is despite the autodraft SNAFU. I got 87ish points, but Russel Wilson only got 8 points. He'll clearly improve. Neither McCoy nor Elliott scored. That will change. TY Hilton had a terrible (<4 point) game with Luck out, which will persist for a couple weeks, but that will improve eventually. I think by the time playoffs roll around, I'll be doing good. I was especially happy that Amendola had such a large role. He'll make a great WR3/4 taken in a very late round if that usage persists, at least for the weeks he's healthy. Shepard was the #1 with OBJ off the field, and he didn't exactly perform. I think he'll improve once OBJ comes back and defenses aren't focusing on him. The fact he played ahead of Marshall is very promising.
Overall, I think my top 3 WRs will improve to average once Luck is back (with serious upside in Hill). My RBs are the best in the league by far. My TE isn't elite, but he's not really a weakness either. My kicker/defense are solid almost-every-week options and I won't have to stream much. My biggest question mark is Wilson behind his O-line, but if he remains inconsistent, I'll start rotating Wilson and Big Ben as a matchup-dependent committee.
If my team stays healthy, I think I have a great chance to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2014. I've finished in 5th place two years in a row, and I'm pretty damn tired of doing that (especially since I picked teams that would perform well in playoff weeks ... and they did).
