This is the second installment of Mage Mash, this time with improved balance! Last time, everyone would just sit around casting Meditate and Mind Control, but this time I've tried to rebalance the spells, with the feedback from the previous game in mind, to make all of them worth using. Meditate was nerfed and Mind Control was removed because it was anti-fun.
I've also added a new mechanic - your Arcane Focus. There are 4 Focuses, which give you access to spells that people from different Focuses don't have. This should spice up the gameplay with new choices for you to make - and remember you can change your Focus on your turn if you want.
So without further ado, here's the new and improved spell list! You start with 5 HP and the last player standing wins! Phase length will be 24 or 48 hours, we'll have a vote when everyone's confirmed.
NORMAL SPELLS:

Channel
: Gain 1 mana of your choice
Forcefield
: Take 1 less damage this turn
Arcane Focus
: Choose an element to gain Focus in. You can use that element's special spells. You can only have 1 Focus at a time.
Magic Missile
: Deal 0 damage to the target

Lightning Bolt
: 2 damage if the target used 'Channel' this turn.

Surge
: Target deals +1 damage to anyone they damage this turn. If they target you, they do -1 damage instead.

: Target any player. Anyone targeting you is instead redirected to that player.

: Deal +3 damage next turn if you attack.

Iron Skin

Hurricane
: Choose 2 targets. Their actions are redirected to each other. If either of them channel, the person who used channel takes 1 damage.

: Deal 1 damage, heal self equal to damage dealt.

I guess it would take mana from thier focuses in the listed order of (earth) > (water) > (fire) > (air)
so if their focuses were air and fire, it would take mana from fire > air and then the rest of the normal order.
