No, it only captures if an opponent has a stone on the opposite side.

If you end by putting the last stone in an empty cup on your side, you capture that stone as well as any across on your opponents' side.

This implies that you capture the stone regardless of what is on the other side.

I see the confusion, these rules looks slightly off. To capture that stone your opponent MUST have stones on their side across (at least 1). Ending a stone in an empty cup on your side that is adjacent to an empty cup on your opponents side will not do anything.

Rules:

Players will roll 6 dice. They may then choose any of those dice that they wish to set aside as points and can either stop or continue on and reroll (you must set aside at least 1 die to continue rolling). If at any point you cannot set aside dice for points from the dice you have just rolled, you

zilch

and score no points that round.

If you use all dice, you MUST roll all 6 and have some die score to be able to save your current score (so if you roll a straight, you must roll all 6 dice and score SOMETHING to continue on). You can keep scoring too if you wish, but you are risking everything you have rolled this turn.

The game ends when a player reaches or passes 10,000. Once this occurs the other player will have 1 final chance to score. After that, the player with the highest score wins!

Since inspir lost the first duel, he will choose which player will start.
