Maybe could face wild pokemon by having a reverse horde battle, have five trainers vs one wild pokemon.

We could play as the wild pokemon for each other?

Just make a team of the available 'mon for the route, and forfeit after one dies.
The one that fights is decided randomly

What do we count as wild pokemon on the route, though? We can't really use the pokemon in 128 if they're still levels 6 to 8 until our Pokemon get stronger. (I did make a team of six weak lv 1 pokemon earlier but I'm unsure if that'd be appropriate for this?) Maybe just use those pokemon but at lv 1.
