How does that work?

It happens if there’s a safety on a two-point conversion or a blocked PAT. It’s happened twice in college football but never in the NFL. It could theoretically happen to the team that didn’t score a TD if a TD is blocked, the other team returns it, they get near their endzone, they turn the ball over, and then the team that initially kicked/passed has the ballcarrier tackled in the end zone (and thus could lead to a team having exactly one point on the board). But this doesn’t really happen.
