So, yeah obviously I know BuJaber is a Fascist now but everyone else doesn't know that, so neining whatever I do is the sensible thing.

I'll just wait a day or so to see if anyone has anything relevant to say and then pick a random person.

What else is there to say? This isn't like Mafia or the Resistance where you absolutely have to know people's alignment by the end game. It's basically a 5v3 game now.

That only works short term. Eventually you run out of trusted guys because of the no repeating rule and if we don't sort conflicts out early on we force ourselves to go with a coin flip later.

Nah. As long as there are four trustworthy liberals left, without a three-player sequence between any consecutive pair, we're fine. So, even if there are two investigations that reveal a fascist/liberal pair, we're still alright by keeping both players out of government, as long as we can identify the remaining liberals correctly (which is something we should be working on in any case).

Vijarada's second post looked a hell of a lot like distancing and none of the rest of his posting has been impressive.
N_M and Reck are townreads because they could have burned liberals and lied about it. But is a townread for neining that vote and calling what I already suspected on inspir.

Correctly is the key word there.

The issue is less about failure to get the liberal policies and more about incorrectly choosing hitler for chancellor later on. Based on the first 2 elections I suspect it is much harder to read people in the forum format. Fascists and especially hitler are going to want to get into the townbloc. If assuming we shun another 2 people after the 2nd investigation we have a 4:2 lib to fasc ratio left we're basically betting that our reads will be good enough to overcome the rng of the policy draw and not pick hitler for chancellor.

We have a confirmed guilty here and another confirmed guilty/confirmed town after the 2nd investigation. We need to act on those.

I mean if you were fascist!NM and knew your chancellor was liberal would you give him 1 lib 1 fasc policy if you had 2 liberals? It makes you look better if you give both lib and it doesn't make a difference to you result wise.
And if by some chance he received 3 liberal policies as fascist he would never tell us he threw a 3rd liberal so we'd think we have more liberal policies left.

I personally am assuming NM is town for now while there are unknowns / more suspicious players around but just be careful with reads based on policies.

That said, the first pair is much more telling.

Reck is pretty much confirmed as liberal. And mallo is either liberal or hitler. I doubt he's regular fascist because he didn't just choose a lib policy he also confirmed a liberal for us which is huge.

Vijar seems like a possibility, he's the only person BuJaber expressed suspicion of before so I would have expected an investigate on him if BuJaber was actually a Liberal looking for Fascists.

He also mentioned SS as an alternative to investigating me, which makes me think SS is likely to be a Liberal too.

He voted Nein for the first government and Ja for the second, so probably the first was two Liberals, second could have been that there was a Fascist on it, could also be that BuJaber saw his buddies voted for the first one and fell in line.

Uhm, that's a non sequitur.

Though I agree Reck is likely a Liberal because there are defenitely more pro-Fascist plays he could have made regardless of whether his third card was Liberal or Fascist.

Your interpretation of the rules is correct, except the last chancellor was xRECKONERx, not insparatieloos.

@mallow: BuJ said he got a guilty on inspi. You voted yes for a government with inspi as president. According to previous governments, three of the liberal policies have been seen. This means that there are three liberal cards and five fascist cards left. If inspi is a fascist and he gets 1l2f (not particularly unlikely, given the distribution), then not only does he get to force a fascist policy and claim he happened to get 3 fascist cards, he also gets to use the second investigation, most likely tying a second liberal to himself in the future.
So, to reiterate: Do you disbelieve BuJ? If so, why? If not, why did you vote yes?

The president gets three cards. He discards one card and gives the other two to the chancellor. The chancellor discards one card, and the one he didn't discard gets passed as policy. Nobody ever sees the discarded cards, after they are discarded.
