So. Here are 100 dice. Go make a game about them or something.

Since you probably need them, here are some starting rules, that I'd be more than happy to get overruled.
  • Everyone starts the game with $100. They're completely independent from score. Use them however you want.
  • A die is worth as many points as what it displays at the current point in time.
  • You may claim dice as your own if nobody else owns them and/or release your own dice at any time.
  • Nobody may own more than 15 dice at a time.
  • You may reroll up to 5 dice a day, regardless of ownership.
  • Use the dice tag for your own rolls. If it's a secret roll, do it in a PM to me.
  • If there's a "STATIC" in a roll, it will be ignored. Please don't abuse this.
  • Starting from tomorrow, every day at 6PM GMT, whoever has the most points gets a Cool Token, and 20 new dice are added to the game.
  • A Cool Token can be exchanged at any time against the right to add one rule to the game. Any initial rule that gets contradicted is immediately removed.

Spoiler: Current rules

  • Starting from tomorrow, every day at 6PM GMT, whoever has the most points gets a Cool Token, the person with the 2nd most points gets 1/2 a Cool Token, the person in 3rd gets 1/3rd a Cool Token, etc. 20 new dice are added to the game and everyone gets 10 dollars after Cool Tokens are handed out. This rule applies retroactively.
  • When Felissan updates, she must include the score of everyone playing.
  • Any time a die you roll lands on a 1, you get $1, and any time a die you roll lands on its highest possible value, you lose $2.
  • Unused cool tokens or fractions thereof can be converted to cash at a rate of $10 for each full token and the appropriate fraction thereof, rounded to the nearest $0.01 (half a cent rounds up), for partial tokens. Cool tokens cannot be purchased.
  • Future rules'll be twelve words maximum. Contractions: smart. Fake portmanteaus (fakemanteaus): disallowed.

  • Maximum number of dice in game: 30 per player.
  • If anyone's dice's names all end in the same digit, +10 points
  • Any dice showing 2 is removed from the game.
  • Players may propose new rules and vote upon those proposals Nomic-style.
  • There’s a secret number randomly picked from 1-100 associated with each die.
  • This is the last rule that can be voted on nomic-style.
  • A one-time d20 ("1" start) is silent auctioned Mondays for Friday use.
  • There is no limit on what you can add as rules.
  • Price to reroll sixth or subsequent die in a day: $25 each

Assign costs to claiming dice? There isn't really any use for the money, and it could be $1 per point retroactive to the beginning of the game so it'd hurt me more...

I don’t think your purchases are valid because the rule isn’t implemented yet.

Sorry about this, I was sure it was implied back when I wrote the initial ruleset. Since it was my intention, I'll go ahead and add it myself. As for the die buying, I have no issue with it, and I'm only waiting for both sides to agree on it.
