I have tried twice to get a new currency created. Last try:

Proposal 334: Create a new rule that states "Each player starts with 15 lightbulbs", and also grants all players except me 3 points.

The last clause means that you have no incentive to hurt this purely to stop me from getting points. Also remember that the "forced vote" proposal failed so no need to fear for your votes.

Proposal 335: Creates the Lightbulb Market. Any player may invest by spending a number of lightbulbs equal to (# investors + 1), or withdraw their investment to receive a number of lightbulbs equal to (# investors).

So, if 3 people are in the market, you can invest by spending 4. If later 2 more join, then there are 6 investors, and you can get out and gain 6 lightbulbs, a net profit of 2. (Of course, you can also lose lightbulbs this way... your risk.)
This is just like the stock market but WAY simpler.

At some point we can find a practical use for lightbulbs...

333 does not have retroactive application. It is basically the equivalent of "Give everyone an orange at the time this proposal passes."

332 says that all players start with zero light bulbs. 334 says everyone starts with 15 light bulbs, which I find to have retroactive applications for players currently in the game (they would've started with zero.)

Though now that I think about it, I have better ruling that is less controversial: since 332 has a lower ordinal than 334 and 332 does not defer to other rules, 332 overrides 334.
