I don't see how abstaining has any effect. What's the difference between abstaining and just not voting at all?

Abstaining lowers the threshold required to approve/reject a proposal.

Proposal 315: Repeal rule 204

Because it makes it hard to get anything passed when there is an incentive to get points by voting no on every proposal.

316: Voting in favor of a proposal that passes is worth 3 points, unless your vote is the last vote-in-favor, in which case you do not receive points for voting for that proposal.

Is Vijarada still in the game? Right now with six players it takes a majority of four votes to pass a proposal right?

I don't like 204 and I don't like 317. In my opinion people should vote according how they actually feel about a proposal, not because they are using their vote to earn points.

sure, I guess, but points do next to nothing anyway?

Like,

proposal 318: 0's are honey bees. Having zero points is equal to having one honeybee.

Voila, having 0 points is already nearly as valuable as having points.

Anyone aiming for a high score is, pun intended, missing the point of a game like this imo

True, but people like Aronis are going to try to get points anyway by voting no to everything thus making it almost impossible to pass anything.

Sorry, I don't understand that rule, so I'm voting against it.

Proposal 319: If and when this proposal passes, Aronis receives 19 points.

HEAL: 319
Maybe this will get Aronis to be more cooperative.

Proposal 320: Repeal rule 313.

I am fine with repealing all the rules with regards to earning points. Maybe we can decide on a completely different mechanism for gaining points.
HEAL: 320

Proposal 321: Transmute rule 105 to be mutable.

I kinda want to be able to do some more fun stuff in this game, but it is kinda hard to when rule 105 basically guarantees everyone has a vote. I'm not saying I want to ake this a dictatorship, but I want to perhaps make other mechanics like points and bees/watermelons have value and be usable. This rule gets in the way of said intentions.
@Aronis: You won't get any points by voting no as this proposal requires unaminous consent to pass.

HEAL: 321

Proposal 322: Repeal rule 207.

Likewise, the restriction that everyone has a single vote prevents me from making rules where people can buy additional votes or something like that using some of the currencies we already have. (Or perhaps penalize people for breakiing the rules or perhaps allowing for some other mechanics where a player needs to possess more than one vote.) Even if we don't ultimatelly end up repealing (after transmutation) rule 105, I think we should at least repeal 207.

Prodding Vijarada (3d 21h). Sorry, this is my fault for not tracking this well.
