hey, just seen this post, idk if this is something that's still being discussed but i got an idea which could help with both this and other things

Under the important announcements section of user control panel maybe add a thread for new people to the site very clear saying if you're new to the site you should read it (like with the rules thread)in this post it should clearly layout various parts of the site and how to find things

if should tell players how each section works, how to sign up for your first mafia game maybe have a link to a page that explains how to play mafia and what to expect on this site (given that all sites play different)
have a section on mish mash and LSGs, some people won't know what you mean by LSG and might be confused because isn't mafia technically a large social game? so saying more about it and a general gist of the types of games that can be found on there and maybe something about of you're new to mish mash games you should check out this: and post a link to a particular game or a list of current ongoing games

main reason for me saying this is that when i first joined the site i found it difficult to make my way around, a lot of fumbling around and just hoping for the best

for mish mash id been on the site at least a month or so before i joined here because it wasn't overly clear how things worked or anything and only reason i did get involved is because i was curious about clash of the mash and since I've fallen in love with it

another thing that could be added to this post is a link to the discord channels for these areas, not sure if mafia has one but mish mash does, or a place for them to connect with people, worst thing about being new is not knowing anyone

im sure there's pros and cons to the six I've mentioned but yeah thoughts?

I wouldn't be opposed to having the mish mash discord server linked, but I wouldn't want it to become an extension of mafiascum so to say like the ms discord kind of is (even though in the welcome channel it says it's unofficial/unaffiliated)
