I had actually totally forgotten about it until you brought it up today. I'm still not sure what was said last year (just got home and was too lazy to look) but I guess I feel like I'd want a separate keeper, whether its an auction keeper or a snake keeper or I guess if everyone that's not me just wanted to switch our current auction league to keeper then fine (this is y'alls league too and I'm up for whatever as long as I get to play FF) but I like the idea of a non keeper auction. So a separate keeper league is my option if we wanted a keeper and from there the question becomes what kind of keeper limit will we have? Are we going to model it off the baseball league and have 10 owners? The only thing I think I'm mostly against is 2 QB's (start).

But for everyone else...

I don't want to kill this league in favor of a keeper one. It's been around for quite a while and is a fun league. It sees it's fair share of turnover from year to year as well and that doesn't work for keepers. A keeper league would need to be it's own brand new thing with people committed to coming back every year. Granted, it's possible to replace people if needed or allow for expansion, but it's easier to not have to do that every year. So yeah I want to keep this league and do a separate keeper league as a new thing entirely.

As for the draft, about the only argument for a snake draft is probably that doing auction kind of makes this league pointless. Like what is so special about it if the keeper league is also an auction one? An auction league for people who don't want to commit to next year? A snake draft in keepers would give this league something that still makes it unique. However, auction allows for so much more strategy in selecting keepers because the price can be raised from one year to the next. With snake + keepers, you basically just keep your best players.

Another thing we didn't discuss is whether it would be h2h or roto. Roto, again, would keep THIS league unique. But h2h is more fun, especially when it comes to football.

Of course all of this is only relevant if the interest is there for a keeper league.

I'd be down for auction keeper. Can't get too excited about snake keeper.

Even the second year only like five people were active. An inactive team made the playoffs.

I think both Arons and TWIE have flaked and need to be replaced so I'm looking for 2 more.

I think I've given TWIE enough time? Or should I wait more? I really hate us having so much turnover and inactive slots. Luckily Mith, Titus, and Aronis have agreed to help out.

Edit: Also, I'm just now waking up from a dream that I ranked Jerrick McKinnon as the number 72 running back and turned out to be pretty much right and I have no idea how to take that. Lol
