I just want to shake the balance up because I have a notion that it would add more complexity to the game and thus decisions become more interesting. There's two ways to do this. Either by bringing everyone closer together in total (my proposal). Or create a massive divide between rich and poor.

I don't believe a word charles says, but whether he gives James a lot or he lies and gives himself a lot this divide will be achieved.

We never had a win condition in the rules, so I am adding a rule:

The first pirate to collect 400 gold is the winner. If more than one pirate has over 400 on the same round then the pirate with the most gold is the winner.

: Charles, you do realize that any proposal that puts someone above 400 will just be rejected, right? The only way this game can really end is a 3-way tie or something. What might be better for a win condition is "most gold after X rounds", or just something that is harder to block permanently.
