I hadn't considered that. Still, I think I agree with Felissan; Gold --> Crown feels like a more direct path than Gold --> (Vegas Golden) Knight(s).

I agree with suit, and stock would be my second guess. Green is the other team's word already (along with ivory), and I think genius is a stretch. I could also see some connection to Toyko through its stock exchange, but that also feels like a stretch.

We also have the other gold item to consider. Looking at the board again, mine not only immediately jumps out at me, it's calling me a dummy for overlooking it. I almost want to guess mine first, then go for this clue, because it feels like such an obvious answer now. Sorry, xofelf, for not seeing that before... :facepalm:
