Also, just one minor change I wanted to suggest - maybe we could automatically end a team's first turn at N words instead of N+1, since they wouldn't have a way to guess more?

The N+1 is important if you get something wrong. Then you have a chance to guess what you missed on the next turn.

Ok, I see. Yes, I would support that rule change.

Disagree, N+1 is important.

It lets you circle back around to pick up words you missed from a botched guess, and in a pinch when behind you can random-guess. My board game group just lets you guess until you pass (or get one wrong ofc)

The suggestion is to end the turn after N guesses only for the first turn. After the first turn we would still have the N+1 guesses like before.
