Either way it runs into the same problem. EISK and EICR both benefit from it being directly beneficial to your wincon to lynch not-you people. Anyway you run Lyncher, it's beneficial to your wincon to not lynch anyone who isn't your lynch target, because the more people who have been lynched, the closer you are to endgame and you don't win by surviving to endgame. If everyone has a unique lynch target, then the game has to be a circle and you have two options. Close the circle everyday or the first lynch to go through ends the game. In either case, lynching anyone except your target is just a bad idea, so you're going to end up with a long boring game where nothing happens.In post 107, Gamma Emerald wrote:I’d it completely random or circular in how targets are determined
In the second case, whoever randomly gets the most Lynchers after them loses, in which case it's not really a game at all, just a random number generator.
Now, while thinking it over, I thought of a potential way to fix it, but I still feel like it'd be an extremely grindy game.
You could have the nightphase be Everyone being a votethief. If you can correctly guess who the Lynchee of a player is, you get their votes. Game ends when there are no more votes in play.This is a Parachute.-

My pet setup for an EI style game right now is EIPGO.
Everyone submits either Arm or Visit: Player each night. You can't make the same choice two nights in a row, but you can visit two different players two nights in a row. So Visit: TW night 1 and Visit: GE Night 2 would be valid, but Visit TW twice in a row would not. If X nights happen in a row with no kills, everyone dies. Not sure what X should be, or whether lynching should be allowed.This is a Parachute.-
