Small message: sry for the wait

Hmm, well, this is a without-a-doubt answer for me. I mean, my 8 year long experience as a Nintendo fanatic really comes in handy here.
The answer is Mario and Luigi, my two favorite Italian video game characters. Or my all time favorites in general.

Shocking!

And, just so we're all clear on the situation: it is impossible for vizIIsto to win this board, as they cannot get three in a row. There is still one option for Vash to get three. If viz gets this square, it's a tie and for the first time we go to a Brand New Board. If Vash gets it, he wins the game.

No pressure.

National Parks
Death Valley National Park is primarily in California, with small portions in what neighboring state?

Well, as much as I know about the USA and its states...
I know that California shares a long border with Nevada, and I'm pretty certain I've heard the words 'Death Valley' and 'Nevada' in the same sentence before...

I reckon I should go with Nevada because to me, that seems like the most likely answer...

Pfffh I really, really wish for Nevada to save my skin...

viz is hoping that Nevada is the right answer...

And it is!

For the first time, we have a tie, and we're going to a second board!

It wouldn't really be fair if Vash would start every game, nvm his winning streak...

Now, because we haven't had one of these before, here's how this works! The pot carries over, and whoever ends up winning will win the pot. The loser of the game won't go away empty-handed, they'll get $250 per tie game. If we have three consecutive tie games, well...we'll end the game. Let's say that.

Image

Here's your board for your second game! Our Secret Category, as always, doubles the pot. If you choose the Opponent's Choice, your opponent will be given two categories and will pick one to make you answer. If you get it wrong, the square is just replaced, your opponent doesn't take control of it.

Vash, as you had the next turn, you're up first here.

(this post contained a request which should be deemed 'too impulsive'.)

Nonetheless I still stand by the point I made here. Just not the request I made to the host :(

Only 2 movies come to mind for this, Tomorrowland and John Carter. Going with John Carter as I'm pretty sure it's the older one.

That is correct, but I'm taking the opportunity to link a very important video on the incorrect answer:

This movie was adapted from a novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs with what title?

Measurements
In the U.S., one standard stick of butter is equal to how many tablespoons?

Oh well I've never heard of those measurements before :shifty:
I'm really desperate to win though so if you'll just give me some time, I'm gonna grab what I think is meant by a 'stick of butter' and see how many tablespoons I would be able to have...
(not actually gonna waste all my butter)
(just measuring)
...
(just some more...)

I made a bit of a mess of this, my parents gon' be mad
Well, this very professional research suggests that I should guess eight tablespoons. I think that would make sense because if it was seven, then half a stick of butter would be 3 1/2 tablespoons, now it's 4. It's easier to get the numbers right.

P.S. this is a very long way of giving an answer ye lolll sry

...how old are you?

Anyway you are correct, though in the future we would ask that you not use the butter you already have to answer questions.
