Para[dice] Legend [ON HIATUS - Thank you for playing!]

PARA

LEGEND

OVERVIEWEveryone can join and play without having to /in. When the game's state is idle, a stock of 5 questions will be posted. The player who correctly answers any one question will get to roll a "Ball Chance", to rack up some balls. Once someone collects 3 balls, they go to the Satellite Challenge, for a chance to win some points, or even better, a shot at the Jackpot Chance for thousands of points!

The special thing about this game is the "Element Zone" feature. A lucky player may trigger the game to go into one of the 5 zones:
ICE
,
WIND
,
THUNDER
,
FIRE
or the mighty of all,
L

N
D
Zone. In a zone, the odds of going to Jackpot Chance increases greatly, and the Jackpot Chances could possibly pay more... up to
1

extra points in any Jackpot wins!

As the name implies, all Challenges and Jackpot Chances will involve dice tags. So there are a lot of luck involved.

Collect as many points as you can to get a spot at the leaderboard!

This game is based on "Grandcross Legend", a Japanese medal game (aka. Casino games using arcade credits of no resell value, intended for enjoyment only).

QUESTIONS PHASETo start racking up points, players need to answer a question correctly. The "Question Stock" will be filled with 5 trivia questions. Anyone who wishes to answer please reply by stating which of the 5 questions they would like to answer, and the answer to that question. If they are correct, they will go immediately to the "Ball Chance" and a new question is replaced in the stock.

Players may only answer a new question after at least one other player made an answer attempt, or 24 hours since their last answer attempt, whichever comes first.
A question that stays unanswered for at least 24 hours will be given a multiple choice to choose from. 24 hours after that, if still unanswered, the question will be replaced with a new one.

BALL CHANCEA correct answer on any one questions launches the
Ball Chance
immediately. A 1d8 is rolled and whatever it lands on is the payout.

Spoiler: Ball Chance Starting Layout (1d10)
2, 4, 6, 8, 10 = 1 Ball & Space becomes ZONE CHANCE
1, 5, 9 = 2 Balls
3 = 3 Balls (Direct Satellite Challenge)
7 = ZONE CHANCE (+1 Ball)

Player earns 5 points for each ball collected.
Once a player hits ZONE CHANCE, the wheel resets.

SATELLITE CHALLENGEOnce a player collects 3 balls, they advance to the
Satellite Challenge
for a shot at the Jackpot Chance and some nice payouts. A 10-space wheel is shown. Some spaces have a color. One of them (#7) is the Jackpot Chance!

In the center of the wheel is a board, with three pairs of letters; A, B, C. Each letter is colored in one of the four colors. During a challenge attempt, one of the letters will be lit. Landing on a colored number in the Satellite Challenge changes the lit up letter in to the chosen color. Landing on a non-colored number leaves the board unchanged. Then, check for any matching pairs. If the two of the same characters are in the same color, that counts as a matching pair. Player wins a number of points according to the number of matching pairs after the challenge is played.

3 PAIRS - 300 Points
2 PAIRS - 100 Points
1 PAIR - 50 Points
NO PAIRS - 20 Points

Then the light moves down the board (in Left A -> Left B -> Left C -> Right A -> Right B - Right C -> Left A -> ...) UNLESS, the challenge ends in a No Pair, then the light "expands" to the next space instead, more spaces will be colored next time!

*If the player wins a Jackpot Chance (JP Space), the board's result is treated as null and void.

ELEMENT ZONESLanding the ZONE CHANCE triggers the game to go into a Zone! First, the player who triggers the Zone Chance plays it to determine the game's Zone.

*Legend Zone can only be obtained through Big Slot, Big Roulette or Ball Chance in Fire Zone

During in a Zone, a new Ball Chance Wheel is used, which gives more balls.
Spoiler: Ball Chance Layout During Ice, Wind and Thunder Zones

3, 5, 9 = 3 Balls (Direct Satellite Challenge)
1, 7 = SPECIAL Satellite Challenge (Zone End)

Satellite Challenges and Jackpot Chances will have the game's current Zone name attached to its name. (e.g. Satellite Challenge launched in an Ice zone will be called
Satellite Challenge
ICE
)

Most importantly, during a Zone, Satellite Challenges have an increased probability of getting a Jackpot Chance by changing the space with the Zone's color to a JP space! (Legend Zone changes ALL COLORED SPACES to JP spaces!) Also, Jackpot Chance wheel gets an upgrade (See Jackpot Chance), and a big bonus added to a Jackpot win!

During a Ball Chance, a Zone Lv. Up space adds the JP Bonus by a fixed amount. A Zone Upgrade advances the game's Zone to the next rarity, and the SPECIAL Satellite Challenge launches a Satellite challenge immediately, with the triggering player rolls a 1d5, of which the result will be the number of non-colored spaces that are changed to JP Spaces for that Satellite Challenge only!
*Zone feature ends immediately after the Special Satellite Challenge.

JACKPOT CHANCEThe
GOLD JACKPOT
starts at 2000 Points and goes up by 25 each Jackpot Chance is played.
The
SILVER JACKPOT
starts at 1500 points and goes up by 1 for every 10 points paid out anywhere (except Jackpots).
Each Jackpot resets once they are hit.

In the Jackpot Chance, the player has a 1/10 chance to win either of the two jackpots. Remember that if a Jackpot is won during a zone, the Zone's JP Bonus is also awarded! (Wheels are 1d20)

Spoiler: Big Slot
A chance to win some points, or the Legend Zone!

One 1d5 is rolled to determine the potential prize. Then another 1d5 is rolled, if it lands on a number in the prize's range, then the prize is awarded. If not, player wins 100 points.

Spoiler: Big Roulette
A BETTER chance to win EVEN MORE points, or the Legend Zone!

A 1d12 is rolled, player wins whatever it lands on.

Any even number = 300 Points
1, 5, 9 = 500 Points
3 = 1000 Points
5 = SUPER DRAGON ROAD
7 = LEGEND ZONE

Spoiler: (Super) Dragon Road
The player in
Dragon Road
will have a faster route to the Goal Bonus!

When a player in (Super) Dragon Road answers a question correctly, they will be credited as answering TWO questions correctly and earn DOUBLE goal balls for the sake of Goal Bonus.
(*The player's actual ball step remains unaffected)

When the player in Dragon Road reaches the Goal Bonus, the Goal Bonus Wheel's spaces will have either CONTINUE or END printed in each of the 10 spaces, besides their payout. Landing on any space with CONTINUE keeps the player in the Dragon Road until the next Goal Bonus. Landing on END ends the feature.

Dragon Road (won in Big Slot) has a 4/10 chance of continuing.
SUPER Dragon Road (won in Big Roulette) has a 7/10 chance of continuing.

GAME FLOWThe game autorolls the Ball Chance. Anything else's dice rolls are made by the player, unless 24 hours passed without response then the game rolls for them.
I will resolve any answers at any time, but no questions will be refilled to the question stock if there is any pending/queued dice rolls (this includes all Ball Chances, Goal Bonuses, Satellite Challenges and Jackpot Chances).
If there are questions about anything, feel free to bold it on thread or PM me.

Welcome to Para{dice} Legend! Another implementation of a series of mini games and jackpots. If you find this similar to Para{dice} Resort, another Mish Mash by me, then don't worry, the purpose of this is to increase my typing speed anyway? Don't get it? Well.

Alright, 5 questions here. Answer any one to get a Ball Chance. Any player who answered may answer again after two other players have made an answer attempt or 24 hours have passed. I've also placed a timer, when a question's timer runs out, a multiple choice will be added for that question, then another timer is set, if it runs out a second time, the question is tossed away. Unlike Resort, we keep refilling questions and stop every time a Satellite Challenge is launched.

Hopefully someone gets us into a Zone where thousands of points can be won!

Here we go.

A. What color is the saffron spice?
(expired on 2019-05-06 12:28:28)
B. From what animal do we get fleece?
(expired on 2019-05-06 12:28:28)
C. What board game's tokens include a rope, a lead pipe, and a candlestick?
(expired on 2019-05-06 12:28:28)
D. What color is always at the top of a single rainbow?
(expired on 2019-05-06 12:28:28)
E. Facebook was first limited to students at what university?
(expired on 2019-05-06 12:28:28)

Remember to state which question to answer, and the answer itself!
