How about some discussion time?

What do you guys like/dislike about this game? What could I do to make it better?

I liked it. I won't sign up for the next round because I signed up for another mish mash game and I don't want to potentially overwhelm myself.

I don't know if you can do much about this but the game feels very luck based. If you just get the tiles you need every round, you win. If not, you lose. Is there any way the rules can be altered for it to be more logic based and less luck based?

The game is normally played in matches (4 players = 4 rounds, with a different player going first each time) to try and mitigate the luck somewhat, but I think that got cut to one round for time reasons? I can see why; this round took over a month.

I did a quick search for variants - the only ones I see are the Michael's variant (which I believe is an optional part of the core rules) where players start with an empty board and have to draw numbers one at a time to fill in the first diagonal (which means greater odds of having a messed-up starting position), and one suggestion on BoardGameGeek to try a snake draft to distribute the starting tiles. I wonder what it would look like if drafting were a big part of the game - but it wouldn't be Lucky Numbers anymore, I don't think.
