the 'hundreds of millions' part is probably to prevent us (read: me) from going 'well could be a scratchoff i guess' or something along those lines

is best guess for coverage 94? it seems like it would be, but maybe 96 to be safe,

yeah, I have to think this is in the 90s range, it's hard to think of why this wouldn't be considered exciting contrasted to mundane. I'm not enough of a Wavelength Expert to know the finer points of 94 v 96, maybe my preference is 96 just to put the other team in a perhaps more difficult quandary of whether to go left or right? What do you all think?

the width of the 4 point range is 5, right? Should we go 95+ just to cover our base in case it's 100? Do we think there's any chance of it being sub 90? My gut says no

98 is the highest it can be because the full 4 point scale has to fit as per the rules,

so guessing 96 always covers the very highest end of the scale

if i am understanding correctly

so if this does not net us 4 points, if say, the intended number is 92, then the opponents always get the point as there is only left to guess,

ah good call, I didn't pay close attention to the full 4 point scale fitting. So if we did 94 and it's 98, we'd get 3 points but better insurance coverage in case it's 92 or below. I still think 96 is probably the safer call to cover the very top end, I could imagine this being a clue for 98 and it's harder for me to think of good arguments for sub 90 (unless NSG is using like a super relative scale basing the top end in like supernova explosions or something) here. but that's just my vote

it seems more likely that the intended target is 98 than 92 to me, 93 and 98 seem evenish to me though? so maybe between 95 and 96 as best guess to me

hm, I dunno, it's hard for me to think of things that can more radically and completely change one's life than hundreds of millions of dollars outside of cataclysmic apocalypse tier events. I def don't wanna go any lower than 90 personally

Xalxe, any thoughts?

it is hard to imagine the intended target being lower than 90 here, thus making 92 the lowest guess that seems okay to me

probably 95, 94/96, 93, 92

would be my order of preference

(trying to maximize 4 point odds here due to point situation but please keep in mind that i am not good at this game so if anything doesn’t make sense to you just ignore it/me)

I have no strong feelings about 94 vs 96, y'all clearly know the intricacies of this better :P I vote for whichever makes it harder for the other team to predict, I agree that it's definitely Very High.

yes!

really i think that i got tossed a softball there, usually whenever you get the extremes it's easier to indicate that than to indicate something else. i did deliberately try to signal slightly less than 100 though by making it hundreds of millions instead of saying, like, becoming a billionaire from the lottery (not that that really happens, but still).

apologies for lateness, i overslept again

here's the card for

worthlesspriceless

and the clue that your psychic, Iconeum, provided is:

your team has (expired on 2021-07-26 13:40:00) to guess where the target is. it’s now up to you to discuss and determine where

"Swimming" makes me wonder, though - not everyone knows how to swim.

Also "Good friend", not "best friend" or "SO".

Definitely high, but I don't think it's a 95. I'd think high 80s ... maybe low 90s?

my guess is probably around 90
